Psychology does not say man is basically good, love yourself, trust in yourself, or the answer is within us. These are flat out lies. Psychology is a science that looks at specific human problems and therapeutic treatments with empirical data and statistics. Psychology is not in opposition to the Bible. In fact just like other areas of science when you approach psychology from a biblical worldview the data supports biblical truth.
