There isn't a single credible doctor that would recommend a carnivore diet, it's a bad if not worse than the most extreme vegan diets. Health comes from a balanced diet, anything in the extreme is just that, extreme. Granted though, chief probably doesn't poop much.

I mentioned it here only as an anecdote to back my head cannon, that the Chief would not need to defecate very often at all provided with the right kind of diet and with his advanced digestive system.

Pablo was not a very good casting. His acting is great but he looks too old for him to be Chief in CE. Chief's age would be in his early to mid-30s by CE. Pablo looks to be in his 40s leading up to CE. Aside from that, that scene is from the end of Halo 4. He's probably in his 40s by that point.

They'd still be following normal social norms, they just don't need the porcelain throne or a urinal when they go to the restroom. If they're in a combat situation, they'd be going when they get a moment to themselves, when they're not under immediate threat. Unless they eat something bad or otherwise have an emergency situation.

Over the course of the war the SII's went from teens who couldn't save Sam and even begin to understand how to unlatch and disassemble the armor, to being 40+ year olds that break down components and go "legless" and "armless" or even circumvent the systems and painstakingly and very slowly take the whole thing apart and climb out of it to shower and do maintenance on the armor. Sam's pretty much death needless death was the catalyst to them really begin to learn the ins and outs of what they could do themselves to the suit. Then we get to the crescendo of their on-the-job training, when Fred nearly got pasted in Havana from the Motion Tracker fritzing out he opened up that system and effected battlefield repairs and discovered that the "quantum mirror" of the Motion Tracker was crusted over and damaged from sand and sea salt from previous operations in oceanside engagements on Earth, he then took another "mirror" and housing and swapped it with the damaged one before sealing it up again.

The hatch would have to be double-doored like an airlock, otherwise going in vacuums or deep water could cause ... problems.
