Another very enjoyable reaction. I have watched this performance countless times over the past year, and I am still moved to tears each time. This will always be one of my favorite Dimash performances. Igor Krutoy (on piano) composed this song 25 years ago for Alla Pugacheva and modified it for Dimash to sing for this concert given in honor of Mrs. Pugacheva on April 8, 2019, in Moscow. As you might already know, Igor Krutoy came out of retirement to compose masterpieces for Dimash after watching his performance of Sinful Passion in 2018. He is finally able to compose music without constraints placed on him by the vocal limitations of ordinary singers; high notes, low notes, whatever his genius mind can conceive, Dimash will be able to perform. Someone explained on another person's page the different elements of the song. There are three sections: In the first and longest, Dimash addresses the audience, describing his dream-like love. In the middle section, Dimash lives the dream. Notice he disengages from the audience; his eyes are closed, then he opens them and looks up. The audience has ceased to exist for him. In the final section, he wakes, notices the audience again, then tells them how the dream made him feel. Which is energized!

Don't get too distracted by audience reaction in certain areas of the world. It's very much a cultural thing. You noticed they're not screaming in the middle of the song and they're not overly exuberant like Western audiences. That doesn't mean they don't appreciate what they've heard. You will see more effusive audience reaction at his regular concerts. Igor Krutoy is a famous and renowned Russian/Ukrainian composer. After hearing Dimash sing a number of years ago he came out of retirement in order to collaborate with him. He has since rearranged his own original music for Dimash's voice and written/composed new music for Dimash. You will often see him at the piano during Dimash's performances. When you do see him you can be assured that he has had a hand in composing or arranging the music. They now have a close friendship and collaborative relationship and they are a force to be reckoned with.

What a wonderful reaction! Subscribed for more. That note you rewound twice to hear again has always been my favourite note of this piece. Dimash gets a lot of attention for his high notes, and they are spectacular indeed, but what he can do with other notes, like the one you rewound, is enough to break your heart with their beauty. I agree, we should all be paying to hear what Dimash does. It is, as you said so well, much more than singing. If other vocalists are singing, we need a different word for what Dimash is doing. The audience in Asia is restrained because the culture shows love and respect in a different manner- they swamp the stage with bouquets of flowers, which I understand, Dimash donates to local elder care homes or other facilities. I love Dimash to the exclusion of other performers except Hua Chenyu, a Chinese national treasure. I can’t listen to the shallow American performers anymore with their blatant lack of promoting anything but themselves. Dimash’s professionalism, dedication, depth, commitment, courage, determination, creativity, and love of family, friends, country, and Dears, is beyond my understanding. For me his voice touches a part of the brain that stops reality and time, bringing such a level of peace that I sleep, that is an amazing accomplishment, my brain never stops. I recently read a comment about Dimash, the comment referred to him being holistic, I agree completely, it was the first time I had ever heard someone use that word, but his voice does heal❤
