Now that you've done Dimash, you need to listen to his idol: Lara Fabian (I recommend Je suis malade. The most popular video is live and has english subtitles). She's the best performer of the last 100 years. And that's not just me saying that, that's a well known fact within singers circles.

There are some ways to avoid this problem: 1. Simplest way: made video window semi transparent and put something contrast in the real world (wood, books, etc) to the back of it. 2. Output video to a monitor that is at an angle and shoot this monitor with a camera. Sound is recorded through the air, with the same microphone into which you speak. Sometimes you can enable the direct view, but it can not be longer then 7 seconds (1..6 is Okay by the European and USA copyright laws). 3. Complex tecnical way and post-process with many effects : see the "Taylor Family reactions" channel as example (see the some videos from it to find effects: google translation say me the phrase "dig in there", i wrote this comment initially not from english) 4. In theory 😁 there must be exist a way with right video descriptions and check boxes (including links to original author) to passthrow some money to it. Peoples view your channel, but the money go to the both channels: your and author. But i don't know how to do this 🤷🏻 5. May be the 100% goodest way is 1+2+3+4

If you want to learn more about the technical aspects of Dimash's singing, I suggest you listen to as many highly technical Dimash reactors as you can manage. The Fairy Voice Mother, Lenore Oren and Tara Simons are my personal favorites, and there are a dozen or so more who also rate very highly. I'm no kind of vocal expert myself, but having watched a lot of Dimash performances and reactions for the past 4 years or so, with as many of these highly technical reactors mixed in as possible, I am light years beyond where I was when I started out. He is so awesome, isn’t he? Stranger is one of my absolute favorite songs. I get goosebumps every time I hear it. I’m a real fan of movies like this that have such a mystical vibe. And it was such a great idea by Dimash to use the Kobysz for that. The kobyz is a very old Kazakh folk instrument and it’s spread among Kazakhs. The man who often is playing the kobyz in Dimash’s performance (also here in Stranger) is the best on this instrument and a good friend of Dimash. His name is Olzhas Qurmanbek. You often can hear this instrument when Dimash sings in his native tongue like Samaltau, Qairan Elim or Òmir Òter. Stranger was performed in Sochi, Russia in 2021 at the New Wave singer competition. So... this song was composed by Igor, and, as you noted; in collaboration with him and others 'For the voice of Dimash' - after all - who else could sing it?! The Kobyz {"Cob-eeze" }is an ancient Kazakh instrument, belonging to a family of others, similar in era from the Middle East / Asian region, and these were the ancestors of all of our modern stringed instruments today. [ Violins - Cello's - Guitars etc.] The Kobyz was restricted for use only by Shamans/ Medicine Men as it's sound was believed to have the power to drive away evil spirits and heal the sick. i have yet to see any Reactor not sit up and say exactly what you did; "I LOVE that sound!" There is something in it that resonates with the soul! Goes straight through to the bone marrow! or both! Good choice by Dimash Yes!? New Wave Competition was one Dimash was a prior competitor in, but here in 2021 he returns as a Guest Judge, and Headline performer. He presented 3 brand new songs to the world as part of this event, all very different. Ave Maria and Stranger ( Composed with Igor ) and they included the New Wave Young Performers to form the Choir in both, which afforded them valuable performance experience at the highest level. ) The Third piece was Fly Away. This is a singer's competition that has been ongoing since 2002. Dimash won this competition in 2019 here he was not a competitor but had been invited as a judge for the competition and he performed three separate times during the event. The other two performances being Ave Maria and Fly Away. Interesting how you likened it to a Nordic sound when it's using a Kazak / Turkic instrument. The Kobyz or kylkobyz is an ancient Turkic bowed string instrument, spread among Kazakhs, Karakalpaks, Bashkirs, and Tatars. The Kyrgyz variant is called the kyl-kyyak. The qobyz has two strings made of horsehair. The resonating cavity is usually covered with goat leather. Wikipedia
