In this video, we have talked about induction stoves. We have answered many questions in the working of induction stove like, It doesn't make itself hot but how it heats the vessel? and why does an induction stove only works only with iron vessels? and we have also given some tips to maintain the induction stove along with the working principle of induction stove.
The induction stove works based on inducing an eddy current in the vessel and the eddy current heats the vessel. To induce an eddy current in the vessel there is a coil in the induction stove, when AC current is supplied to that coil it creates changing magnetic field and that magnetic field induces an eddy current in the vessel. So the stove doesn't need to get itself hot to heat the vessel.
The reason why iron vessels are used in induction stoves is that iron metal has high resistance and it has ferromagnetic property so it can allow magnetic field inside it that's why we use only iron vessels in induction stoves.
To maintain the induction stove correctly we have to clean and switch off the stove when after the exhaust fan stops working. Some other interesting tips are also given in the video.
