Every year for the past 5 years the Pentagon has failed their yearly 1 trillion dollar budget - half of which cannot be accounted for. They don't spend it well. It is a racket. They are robbing us blind.
Parachuted in darkness, middle of the night, landed, proceeded to kill EVERYBODY in the compound in a few minutes firefight, rescues Jessica AND another Danish man, and extracts them out safely. I think the whole operation took a total of 20-30 minutes. The US asked for video confirmation Jessica was alive, they sent it, soon as we got the video confirmation the Seals were deployed.

I served 17 years of active duty in the army. I was airborne. Also served with the 75 Rangers. I had a lot of combat in my days. I met a fee navy seal; they are the real deal. As rangers, we trained together, and sometimes we work together. When an elite unit gets a call for rescue Americans, we take that very seriously.
Yeah, but that is also seen in nature when young are protected. Better for the big bear / soldier with body armor trained in (receiving) first aid to be attacked than the cub / VIP or a regular citizen.
It is not just SEALs but also all of our special operations troops it is just SEALs who usually get more publicity but the Army guys do things you almost never hear about. You might hear about them some but most times you do not hear any recognition that Delta/CAG or whatever you want to call them did something usually just generically said special operations troops.
I started to tear up when she was told "Jessica, we're here to take you home." Proud to be an American. I did try to enlist but i already had ptsd so i wad Denied. But can go if didnt already have just able to come back with it among other mental and physical injuries, just to be neglected by the government. Sweden here. This is really touching and beautiful in its horrific way. We have nothing like it. We are left to our own devices. However, if there is something I wish for, it is that governments would take care of the people in need in their own countries too. There is a disconnect between the lengths they go to save their own in situations like this and the care provided to those in need at home. It is truly beautiful to see such dedication. I just wish the same fervor could be applied to saving lives at home with life-saving healthcare and assistance for those captive to other struggles.

I am a Marine. I served for 9 years before i was medically retired. Not to toot my own horn but im no push over. 1 leg and i still run half marathons 3 times a year. But if a Seal picked me up and started running...id feel like i was a kid again with my dad carrying me. Lol Those dudes are the bad asses of the bad asses. The elites of the elites. People always ask how effective our Military really is, other countries and some of our own people laugh at our military, but Jessica said it best : “I heard a scratch, Helper heard it too, I looked at Helper and he had a look of sheer terror on his face”. The Somali pirates didn’t know they were SEALs, all they knew before their deaths were the American Military was there.

As a disabled veteran, i was never so proud to be part of our military, and my heart breaks when i hear someone say, "what's in it for them, or call us suckers and loser's" we do it for our country and families, not seeking recognition! It's called being a true American!!!

Devgru does have personal who were not previously navy seals. Yet most are, as navy seals meet the strenth & endurance requirements. THIS! This is proper use of our men who serve. 1. These people were rescued 2. The kidnappers met their end 3. A lesson taught. No political garbage, just protecting an American citizen and sending the message about how bad of an idea kidnapping an American is. Great story.

When the Seal Team Six was sent to kill Osama they were told its most likely a suicide mission but to still kill him. The Seals dropped, killed everybody in Osama’s compound, killed Osama, and every single Seal made it back home. Our government was shocked and also lowkey scared cuz they were like “uh…maybe…maybe we trained them too well…”
When returning from a difficult patrol....seeing the US flag flying over firebase was a feeling that is difficult to describe....knowing you were close to Friendly's that would fight for your life

She also asked for their names and to see their faces. The Seals never said their names nor showed their faces. They also put her on the first helicopter out of there and stayed back to secure the location and catch the next lift out. To this day she has no idea who they are.

And yet they’re not even phased by it, all they’re thinking ab is getting back to base and getting some chow, kicking back, and throwing on the PlayStation for some downtime until next mission.

I was at a base very close by and watch these SEALS practicing the jump. In Florida the SEALS that invaded Panama were at our training area practicing with a whole bunch of comms and guards. We knew nothing but one morning as I was driving into work I heard we invaded Panama, I got to work and they were all gone😂

I think that the resources available is more dependent on the country with Britain having a more freedom of command approach to americas chain of command style
And you just know those guys were MOTIVATED for a mission like that, when you actually get to rescue a captured American woman and get her home, that had to be an amazing feeling for those men.
Apparently in the full interview she asked for their names. They gave none. She asked to see their faces. They remained hidden. To Jessica it was the biggest pivotal moment and the most she’s ever been thankful for. To them, to them it was just another mission. They disclosed no names showed no faces, barely said any words, and left. They also put her, and the Danish captive, on the first helicopter out of there. She asked “are you guys not coming?” To which they replied something like “no we’re gonna make sure it’s secure and catch the next lift.” And that was it. That was the last she ever heard or was in their presence.
