I was thrilled when Jon Stewart came back to host The Daily Show. He is a National Treasure. His wit and wisdom is infectious and the relentless work he did for the 9-11 first responders compensation was heroic. I love this man❤

America really needs this man's voice. I wish he would run for office I don't care what office just anything but it is what it is and I respect him for what he does do. He's a real beacon of truth and honesty and I have so much respect for him. Happy to have you back no offense to the rest of the crew but I wish it was everyday. I'll take what I can get

He convinced Republicans to vote to extend benefits to 9/11 First Responders. He would have never achieved that across the aisle. He’s not needed in office.

Jon Stewart would be insane to run for office and would become disillusioned rather than just acerbic. His nature is not to compromise with people with other views, and that is daily life in politics - which is why Congress has become so dysfunctional and obdurate.

I'm definitely of Jon Stewart's inclination socially. I very deeply relate! I love to socialize and discuss deep issues, but my social battery only allows me to spend so much time on anyone other than my immediate family, and occasionally with close friends. To me, the social world is much better in small doses ... and I'm also much better in small doses! 😅 I never tire of Jon, though. 😁

I had a dream last night that he came back but was in his 20's (after previously being in his 60's) looked a lot like Michael Costa and everyone got mad at him, ending the show early. I think it was because he de-aged himself, his personality regressed in maturity and everyone wasn't having it. Not sure what that dream means🤷

It’s so the stage lights look all cool and dramatic, mainly for the opening I think, but also when they pan the camera around before and after commercial breaks. It’s just a water vapor mist.

The man didn't exactly answer the question, although I feel like he's saying he'd rather not be there at all but once a week is doable.. Either way, I'm soo indescribably glad he's back. Jon's is a voice of reason that offers a sense of guidance and hope during these relatively unprecedented and chaotic times. Thankful we have him for even a day

You're right...he doesn't wanna be there. It's why his contract is up ☝ next year. Basically Comedy Central doesn't know how to bring in ratings for the show or won't pay a high profile comedian to host permanently.
