From season 4, I assumed it was an aunt but in season 5 when she had a new room and third mom, it was as if she was being a pathological liar until finally, the disguises she uses was much worse than that. A psychopath. Probably to use them for personal knowledge or benefits. Like the first mom works at an embassy which Lila gained info about it. The second one works at a cover magazine which Lila used to become a model. The third who is deaf, I suppose using her to gain knowledge in disabilities. I suppose she’s an orphan. If her name is fake, her real one is a mystery like she’s running from the law or never wanted to be found. If she’s really a petit person like 17 or 18, that’s just gross of her to co-model with a 14 year old boy younger than her. My old theory suggests she was abandoned by her real father Gabi Grassette after he became Gabriel Agreste.

omg it makes sense that lila would have a backstory like esther in the movie 'orphan' (yk cus she's an actual psychopath) for the theory that gabriel is her real father tho, I don't think that's possible since emily had fertility issues. unless gabriel is another women's baby daddy. (that would also just be disturbing, considering lila's obsession w adrien)

@@i.microwaved.a.vending.machine My point exactly. Gabi probably had an affair with an unknown woman until he either changed his mind or did not love her. Maybe from being drunk I suppose. But did you also know that no one realized is very highly wrong for a celebrity adult singer to write a song for a minor? It can ruin a celebrity’s reputation if they did that or not. Plus, we also forgot about in Confrontation when Lila got exposed and escaped, it’s unknown if she left her things in her locker. It’s the only evidence or trace she left behind

Lyla not Layla Neither are her mother they all think Lyla/Cerise is their biological daughter they gave up for adoption she said to her deaf mother 'she knows they have just been reunited' as she made up a story of why she will be gone for a while, she is using them to have free room and board while getting revenge on her real mother Sabine for giving her up for adoption or abandoning her with her wicked or neglective father, she is jealous of her relationship with Marinette and set her sights on Adrien because Marinette wanted him, Sabine left China and moved to Paris France changing her name from Shabine to Sabine and I think it was to escape and hide from Lyla's father, Tom and Sabine has been married for 20 years and Marinette was 14 on their 20th anniversary, so Lyla/Cerise has to be at least 21 years old

Throughout season 3 to 5 for years, we didn’t know she faked her name. It’s hard for us to adapt to her new identity. Cerise never existed throughout season 3 and 4 until in the finale of season 5. We all didn’t know she wore a wig and fake eye contacts the whole time. It’s called deception and everyone falls for deception all the time.

Like Gabriel re-akumatized Mr. Pigeon over 70 times and yet failed a lot with him. Cerise is not that stupid. Plus, hiding in the catacombs is very unsafe with dead remains in there. Even restless spirits too. I don’t know how she’s capable of gaining signal service down in the catacombs because the walls are too thick.
