Looks good to me. The only important thing to remember with drain lines is 1 inch of drop per foot on the horizontal pipes. If you do any steeper or less steep then you'll be getting repeated clogging.

I did some drainlines for out house black water . On horizontal runs drop should be 1/8 to 1/4 every 10 foot . Convert that to the length of your runs & make sure it's right . ( Clean ) Water lines don't really matter because they're pressurized

Over all it looks like it will work well. You over complicate some parts of the system but that’s just not doing it for a living. I would add some support bracing on the horizontal drain lines. I’m Illinois your required to brace the pipe every 4 ft. Also, I would have added a clean out between 12 and 18 inches off the ground on the main drain line. It’s not fun to try to run a rod when your standing 5 ft off the ground on a ladder. I’m general one of the better “homeowner” plumbing jobs I’ve seen in a while.

Looks great. Takes skill to get it all together in the studs and have it all line up and pitch and seat the joints all the way. You gonna exfil or air test it?

Looks good. Here in UK you don't have to vent every appliance. I plumbed my own house in 2011. I put plenty of access panels and rodding points in.
@bricebeaulac

Yeah it’s the same in the US lmfao
@MeltinMetalAnthony

But it should work ? I had to vent the tub and shower separately because what I read was if using 2” and it’s more than 5 ft away from main vent it needs its own

1:24 the tee for the vent is upside down. Doesn’t really matter but it wouldn’t pass inspection here. Don’t need a long sweep on the vent either but that doesn’t make any difference. I would’ve also just used a tee for the upstairs sink rather than a wye and the 45. Should be fine though. Overall I think it looks good. I’ve seen worse from actual plumbers hah. I’m not by any means a professional, but I did do a year of residential new construction plumbing before I left to go to welding school. Good stuff Oh yeah, don’t forget the nail plates
@MeltinMetalAnthony
@MeltinMetalAnthony Год назад

Actually 8” on center lmao. To support the tub, fire place and shower. The tub is right above the far wall these are 9.5 joists so I was extra careful

@@osbaldohernandez9174 just was remodeling my wife's and I new house we put in a new shower surround did all pex and thought we had everything good to go turned everything on and checked for leaks before drywalling back in and putting the surround up crossed my mind to cut in a quick access obviously didn't and we had a damn leak had to go back in and fix one of the connections obviously then we put a quick access panels in . Obviously it doesn't matter when you do it really just gives you peace of mind when you do it before and the fact you have them there and don't half to f with it . Just my 2 cents.

My house only has one vent coming off the main drain and going up, not from each application and tying in. I guess more vents can’t hurt though.
@say_goodnight7342
@say_goodnight7342 Год назад
Any code in the u.s will want you to induvidually vent every fixture. There are some examples in the International code book and I'm sure in the uniform code book that you can wet vent a single lav sink off a water closet vent, or quick-vent an old existing island sink, but generally every fixture needs to have it's own vent, correctly sizesd as they connect to other vents through the house. My state, KY actually has it's own code, and we don't have any limitations... Everything has to be vented, no wet vents or common vents or different fixtures, no running vent's flat below 6 inches above the flood level vent, and no crown or quick vents.
