How does the iPhone 5 hold up in 2022? 

I personally feel the iPhone 5 is the most beautiful phones apple has ever made , what a giant leap they took from 4 To 5

I finally replaced my iPhone 5 as my daily driver texting and calling phone this year about a month ago. Then, my dumbass went ahead and lost the thing. But that phone was amazing. The only thing holding it back was the app support, but almost all apps have now moved forward.

I actually still have a few older apple mobile devices still. The iPhone 4S from 2011, the iPod touch 2 from 2008, the iPod touch 1 from 2007, then finally the iPod classic 5 from 2005. All of them still work fine.

I can’t wait the iPhone 5📱is 10 years old, I remember when the iPhone 5📱came out 10 years ago in 2012 I was 13 years old 😂

I gave my Dad black 64gb model to use overseas. Now WhatsApp is losing support so he not going to use it anymore. I liked the color of the black model so much.

iOS 10 is still surprisingly usable for a 5 year old OS.

I'm still using a iPhone 5 with iOS 7 as my main phone.

I collect old Apple devices myself and and have a 2012 iPhone 5 and were supposed that I can still play a lot of games on it and still download and use the Facebook and Messenger app.

I still have my 5se it been in my drawer and it still works and the speakers still work but it is banged up and the speakers are dirty and it even took a bath but it still works very well

My first iphone I bought and I never looked back, now on iphone 14 pro

the Galaxy S3 handles better with a custom rom like Android 13 or Android 12 Lineage OS Rom and im suprized it runs better with newer apps on this 11 year old phone and its better then the iPhone 5 with iOS 16 jailbroken theme on it

You should’ve mentioned the fact that all carriers are dropping 3G support for the device, and the iPhone doesn’t do voice over LTE. So by the end of the year the phone won’t be able to make phone calls.

I remember when discord BARELY supported 10, sad to see it killed off.

I had a iPhone 5 two years ago I play games on it few years earlier playing an online game that I play everyday it was find that time then comes two years later everytime I try to play that game it keep lagging it keeps logging out so had no choice but to give it away

I usually use older phones from apple like iPhone 4s or iPhone 6s ( yea, i know that have the iOS 15 ), another older devices which i use every day is the iMac late 2013, MacBook Pro early 2011 and the iPod Classic 7 from 2009... i think the older devices are better than new... not by speed, that we know. by nostalgia, and that is this looks better than now:) we know that the apple and all of developers kill's older devices for new one... sadly is this that the YT not works any more on older iphone's ( but you can install the youtube for iOS 6 on newest iOS on iPhone and use that ) sorry for my english...
