Hey! Name’s Matthew! I do reviews, experiments, and other random shenanigans with technology! If you like what you see, I hope to see you in the future!

I have some original sound blaster installation CDS I need to get a DVD to zip the disc in a small file then post it some were saying that I now there his a way to send the large file using some program but I can’t remember the name .. should you wont a copy just leave a message
Fun fact: the G3 processor never got Leopard. You needed a G4 to stand a chance. Also, I could swear my 1.5GHz PowerBook G4 ran RU-vid better one year ago. Maybe it’s because I’m using InterWebPPC RR3 with the optimizations instead of the generic RR4 build?
Yep, technically anything before the 6, actually. While the 5-5S support 4G, they don't support VoLTE (Voice over LTE) which means they can't place phone calls or text messages (iMessage would still work), as they relied on 3G to do that. :)
i have like 10 of these lol 1 quad absolutely no issues with it . a dual 2.7 that has a revised lcs no issues there a modded daul core 2.5 no issues at all a 2.3 a 2ghz xbox dev version and others
Don't know if you're still viewing comments on here, but I was wondering how you transferred over the wifi patch or gained root access into the iPod. I used the SSH ramdisk to SSH into the iPod but I don't know what to do after that...
I am! You’ll need to place the WiFi folder in the /mnt1/usr/share/firmware folder, replacing the existing folder if there already is one. If you can’t see that folder, type “mount.sh” in a terminal connected to the iPod with SSH, and that will mount the partitions. :)
The 360e was never a good model to buy. The S and first e shared the same motherboard but the S had more connection options and was cheaper obviously than an e on release. But this model was at least modable. The last generation gen e wasn't. So no the e wasn't a good buy. But whatever helps you sleep at night
Hi, nice video, thanks. The PM Quad 2.7Ghz and 2.5 can be converted to air cooling. The problem of overheating does not arise, the important thing is to use a good paste and make sure that the heat pipes of the heat sinks are working. On many 1.8/2Ghz G5s fitted with the very first 970s, they failed by overheating the CPUs. The 970Fx versions, being 90nm, heat less and the dualcore 970MP are 65nm so they heat even less. G5 Quad servers do NOT use liquid cooling (nor do IBM Workstations based on the Power4 or G5 (IBM also used the G5 for its BigBlue)) based Apple wanted to use liquid cooling to impress users; think about it, this thing of using liquid happened in April 2005, persevering until December 2005 with the PM Quads. In January 2006, MacBookPros and iMacs with Intel CPUs were already being sold. So it seems like a ploy to sell as many PowerMacs as possible in the space of a few months, because after the announcement of the switch to Intel CPUs, no one or few will think of buying a professional machine doomed to decline; a similar situation has just happened with the MacPro 7.1 Intel, now out of production for months due to the release of Apple Silicon.
Did this a couple weeks back on a gen 8, and it was actually a lot of fun, even got to create a short on the board, since there was no way to brick it through software and flash TWRP, something I have experience with from my Switch
I just set up my Xbox 360 E, and apparently I need to connect to Xbox Live to save data for some games. I'm trying to connect to the Internet, but when I accept the prompt for an update, it keeps failing to take it. Does anybody know what could be the problem? I'd appreciate the help.
Hey Matt, were you able to test this on a post-T2 Macbook? I have a macbook pro with m2 chip, which is mdm locked. I'm just scared if it gets permanently locked even if I try this method LoL. Thank you so much in advance.
It's already locked, so there's no reason not to try it. :) Just make sure your Mac is not connected to the internet when the setup starts, past activation. Once you get to the macOS utilities screen, disconnect your machine from the internet.
for youtube just use Sorbet Leopard (machintosh garden supplementary update) and safari will run youtube just fine and smooth at 360p or lower by default for better playback performance
Yes, it works on all kinds of MDM locked devices. I don’t know your situation, but it’s best to contact your employer to make sure they can’t remove the lock first.
iPad mini was my introductions to apple world... since then i have bought myself a iPhone 7 ,11, 15 , macbook pro , and ipad 10 now ... that mini has a sweet memory in my child and academia life... fun fact i still have that ipad mini it still works which blows my mind i little sister uses it as a kindle and the reason why i shifted to apple everything
I know this isn’t really related, but could you talk about semaphorin someday? Having a guide on using it to downgrade A7-A11 devices aswell as issues including some due to missing SEP would probably be a pretty interesting topic.
RU-vid Works with the browser and some games do support iOS 9 and 7 to this day List of games Baldi’s basics iOS 9 or later Rolling balls (ending support soon) iOS 7 or later
I still remember having it back then, after some updates the ipad became so bad its unusable... Always crashes lag etc The only good thing it had is a yt with no ads (which i think is a gltich)
Hey, for some reason, I couldn’t get the downgrade to work but when I went to restore it back to iOS 7 it’s now refusing to restore. It looks like it’s restoring, but soon as the restore is done, it goes back to iTunes recovery image
I would suggest putting your device in DFU mode to restore your device. Press and hold the power button and home button for 10 seconds while plugged in. After that, let go of the power button, but keep holding the home button for another 10 seconds. Your iPhone should display in iTunes or the Finder, and you can restore it from there. If this doesn’t work, your device could be physically damaged, however, this downgrade cannot cause that, it would have just exposed a pre-existing issue.
Never mind got my iPhone 4 to work again. I just had to use powderedsn0w thank you though. also the downgrade tool you have in the description is missing like most of its files and doesn’t work
You should try to use the SB Live card's Hardware ID from within your Win7 x64 when you look for drivers for it. (Looks like this for example: HDAUDIO\FUNC_01&VEN_10EC&DEV_0900&SUBSYS_1462DA11&REV_1000).
If you're going to run the hard drive like that, you really should turn it upside down so it doesn't make contact with anything metal in the bottom of that case.
Depending on the drive, running it upside down can damage the disk mechanism. It's not an issue though, as the circuit board is raised slightly so it won't make contact with the bottom casing. I appreciate your concern though, thank you for your comment. :D
Not sure how much it will help but the dell xps 600 used a card like that and dell’s site even has those hard to find xp 64 bit drivers you mentioned. They even had the version for vista there though that was a 32 bit version. If this computer has 4 gigs of ram or less it doesn’t make much sense to go for a 64 bit os.
The system does have 4GB, but I plan to use 64-bit software and Vista's extended kernel, which requires a 64-bit OS. I appreciate it though, and I'll take a look at that page on Dell's site at some point. :)
