That thing is insane, dude is using speed and gear based boost control, yet he is obviously still smoking the rear tires most of the way down the straight!
Surely DOCILE can find a sleeved 4G somewhere and a holinger could just appear out of nowhere. Maybe you and mic could do a collab. Dang even make a throwback shirt for fundraising the cause.
Andre has everything he needs to build the engine, just not the time yet. It is in the pipeline for the future. He still has the intake, it's tucked away here at work. Probably should display it, it's a work of art. The original fabricator who made it is on a different career path now but I believe he said he's keen to do any work needed to bring it back to life as a bit of a passion project which is cool. All in time, and good things take time 🤘 - Taz.
They were popular enough here in New Zealand but the cost of sorting the drivetrain vs just buying an EVO, GTR or STi etc didn't help them 'back in the day'. We pretty much get/got everything and anything Japan has ever made though, even more so than Australia - Taz.
The benefits of a mechanicals fuel pump is huge flows with little load on the car. Electric pumps struggle with large flows. If they do have large flows it requires a huge amount of current. This can effect spark quality and overall HP. Plus you need a large alternator to power it. Mechanical is simple and flow increases with rpm.
