How does this Spy 2 Way PKE Car Alarm Work? Review and Installation

That problem is caused because the alarm has been wired up incorrectly and your door switch wire is not sending the alarm the correct signal. Once you have your door switch wire correctly setup your problem will go away. No that can't be disabled, it is one of the main features of all car alarms. Take your car back to the Installer or use somewhere else that knows how to Install a car alarm correctly

Hello, start by removing power to the Alarm controller for 60 seconds and then reconnect, then theres 2 options, try this: OPTION 1 1. Press and Hold down Foot Brake Pedal 2. Turn Ignition ON and OFF 8 times (leaving it ON the 8th time) 3. Press UNLOCK button on the Remote 4. The Siren will Chirp to confirm the programming was successful 5. Turn OFF Ignition and remove key OPTION 2 1. Press and HOLD the Learning Code switch on the Alarm interface controller for approximately 3 seconds 2. Now press UNLOCK button on the Remote 3. The Siren will Chirp to confirm the programming was successful 4. The Remote is now programmed Hope that helps you, best of luck

​ @SHORTwithTECH Definitely want to see that too! Watched this video for the PKE and push button start. Remote start doesn't interest me, but very curious how the remote start is wired / how it operates. EG: How does it detect engine run or does it just crank for ever.

This all depends on the type of car you have because all cars are wired differently and use different types of locking systems.

@hrk450 PKE is only supported by the APP or the supplied Remote Fob

@andrewkhiew3442 yes it does, but you will need a bypass module to use that functionality of the system if your car is using a transponder based immobiliser system
