I've been playing DD since day one on the Xbox 360. Probably purchased it half w dozen times since then. So happy to see the series return. I guess my biggest complaint (aside from the story) is the pawm AI. In the first game, my pawn would "learn" how to, for example, remove the helmet of a Cyclops to make it more vulnerable. In this one, my pawn would say it learned something but i never see it use the knowledge in any meaningful way. I

My god i missed this you are right! I replayed Dark arisen recently and completely forgot that little detail. I do miss and wish they brought that back. What i miss is Dragons Dogma’s Jrock intro, not dark arisens hahaha

@@timothylewis2527 Right! no idea why people were complaining so much, but as for myself I loved it and would love it to be back. Well on the bright side lets see what type of dlc we can expect from DD2, I hope they bring in new monsters and add the hydra back as well as like a difficulty scaling past NG+, but i know thats a lot to wish for.

My main complaint is that NG+ has no challenge or scaling. DD2 needs major DLC for end game to keep things interesting.

I fully agree with that!! When i tried NG+ they didn’t scale the monsters to your current level so it’s a breeze. They should at least do that. However, I dout they will because the first Dragons Dogma had the same problem.

@@ZinoGlaive, while true, the first Dragon's Dogma had the unfortunate timing of being released around the time Skyrim launched, it never stood a chance. I think that the popularity of DD2 should be enough for them to actually update the game, and Capcom is usually pretty decent with stuff like that, so I shall remain hopeful.

@@affliction1979 I will also remain hopeful, it is still too early to know about any DLC, but let’s hope!! I really love the game and want it to do well. Loved the first as well and miss its jrock intro

I heard if a monster falls in the brine in order to get its loot you must quit out and log back in the loot should be on the ground is that true

Sadly that is true, however I didn’t care much for it so it didn’t bother me. Plus, you always find those monsters around quite a lot so if you missed one you can find him easily.

A few thing that this game is lacking monster design and the main quest can be beaten in 2 hrs

Personally, if you focus on the main quest I don’t think it would take 2 hours. Now, I could be wrong I have 60hours in the game and recently just beat it. Though, I was exploring a lot and doing loads of quests because they ate interesting. Hope this helps.

As for monster design, i fully agree. They only added a couple new monsters looking back from the first and for some odd reason they took out some monsters that would have been awesome like hydra
