‘Family Matters’ should have been called ‘The Heart Part 6’. It’s a better track (and diss) overall and has beat switches (so it’s in line with what the actual The Heart tracks roll).

Let me start off by saying I’m not a big fan of either artist but I am a fan of battle rap and just a hip hop fan in general. I genuinely feel that channels like this HAVE to side with Kendrick bc the ones that don’t get shit on in the comments and with dislikes and that’s obviously bad for your channel. But to say Kendrick is “destroying Drakes career” and Drake is “embarrassing himself” by going on the defensive in this latest track is just absurd. Most of these react channels are clearly bigger Kendrick fans therefore are bias and don’t actually analyze these fairly. Again, I’m not a big fan of either artists but I genuinely feel like I’m living in the twilight zone when hearing takes like this.

If you listen closely to Meet the Grahams Kendrick baited everybody with the hidden daughter thing. He wrote a letter for a daughter that could be out there or one he'll have in the future, so even if Drake doesn't have one now, when he does, she will hear it and it will still hit. That's why he said "Dear baby girl" and didn't use a name. He's saying Drake is such a pos that he will eventually have a daughter he'll hide too if he doesn't have one already. Remember this part of the letter is to the daughter, Not Drake. So its not the same as when Pusha T said "You are hiding a child." As for the bday, he doesn't say she's 11 yrs old but only referes to her 11th bday, so again this could apply past or future. He knew the internet would overlook these small details and go nuts. Even Drake was so pressed that he forgot he was just accused of being a predator and a drug addict and defended the hidden daughter narrative instead. Genius.

The evidence is in Kendrick saying that OVO was working for him. Kendrick also said he wasn't looking for dirt but Drake leaving bread crumbs means Kendrick was searching. Why, then, are we meant to believe he's making up the rest of what he is saying? I see no reason to assume he is lying...
