Phil Foster was best known for his role as Frank DeFazio in Laverne and Shirley. He began his career as a comedy writer and often performed on variety shows. He rose to prominence when he was cast in Laverne and Shirley.
Betty Garrett became famous through two great 1970s sitcoms. She first gained prominence with her role as Irene Lorenzo in All in the Family. When she joined the Laverne and Shirley cast she played Edna Babish. She also had a brief film career and a prolific career on stage.
