How Effective can you be in Tarkov with a CONTROLLER? 

I play with controller in one hand (with paddles), mouse in the good hand and a keyboard on the floor with my feet. The right stick of the controller I move against my body and the face buttons are rarely used like check time, escape, stuff like that.

Try using the gyroscope because that can offer mouse aim on controller (set it to mouse in the options). It is disorienting at first but get used to it and then it’s pretty clean and fast (you won’t be using it solely; it’ll act as an additional layer on top of stick aiming however the stick will be used for broad general aim rather than for fine aim or tracking). You can also use the touchpad as a scroll wheel instead with sub options for itself (scroll speed/sensitivity, friction, advance settings with direct binds to what it’ll scroll to)

I do not believe this game is to advanced for controller/console. Rust, is just as complicated IF not more complicated and they have released it on console. I can’t imagine the money BSG is/will lose if they never release this game on console.

I play with a fusion pro 2 and have every keybind on my controller. Very happy with steam. Never tried wasd. The paddles on the back don't add buttons, they jus link to a button, for example my left top paddle is link to dpad up. Edit: also it's easier to loot using quick loot, for me its LT+A to transfer to bag and RT+A to transfer guns to sling and hands. Great vid by the way.

I play with a controller. I use ReWASD. Oh, and I use a gyro enabled controller so I use the motion aiming for micro adjustments in aiming. IMO Gyro is the perfect middle ground between joystick and mouse aiming. Its more precise than a joystick while being more comfortable than mouse.

audio is inverted btw every sound thats in front and to the left sounded like behind and to the right

Imagine a life long controller player who has the knowledge of tarkov play it on controller how good he could be

Got my pc today been a console player since day 1 I’m 21 now, at the start when I first played it was hard killed s few pmcs got slammed a few times due to me not knowing all the buttons for controller. But my last game today was good completed my first raid with 2 kills lol any tips

It's just because you got no SKILL not because your on controller
