@@MarshalBhau69 Ngl, after seeing DRX's game against ASE, I thought there was a good chance EG would smoke them. DRX looked really predictable and sloppy against ASE and against a team like EG who have actual strategy/can counter strat, it was not good for DRX.

Drx got stale and ended up switching to main duelist setups like loud and other top teams betting on foxy9 but tbh og roster’s slow and methodical plays were getting old but it was much better i think

Eg set up duelist well but drx barely set up foxy9, and foxy9 played disconnected from the rest and usually played alone more especially during ascent.

It’s actually crazy how much depth there is to util usage in this game. EG don’t have superstar names, they’re playing one of the most consistent teams in the game, and they made them look like fools just through util usage and coordination. Feels like teams have barely scratched the surface, the skill ceiling of this game is crazy

Ethan is the unsung hero in EG, his util is SO good. Did not expect him to be this good again, so W coach as well. The rest of the team is obviously really good too but I feel Ethan (and c0m) are underappreciated.

Two things : 1. EG's utility usage is way ahead of the curve. They're playing chess while people are still playing checkers. . (ex: They took the omen blind +tp and replaced the blind with a kayo flash. Small things like that pile up) 2. It's poetic to see that they're outstratting and out-util-using one of the best utility using teams because some braindead people used to blame Potter for everything wrong with EG. (maybe just cuz she was a female coach)

Kills with Sova's ult are always very satisfying to see because his ult doesn't guarantee kills as much as other ults, you have be pretty precise with your set plays Speaking of Sova, do any teams other than EG favour using Sova on Fracture? If he's a rare pick, how much value do they find using him

If you compare Sova to Fade, Fade has a bit more info gathering than Sova on Fracture with Two Prowlers and synergized better with Raze (who is typically the seen Duelist). Sova seems to have value but I do think Recon also can be easily dodgeable at times compared to Fade's Haunt but his ult really does go well for post plant (Sova in general for post plant) and can also count KJ ult. So it is a really good counter pick to KJ.

This should wake up DRX definitely. They think their strats would work again because it worked with ASE, but now they've been countered real hard. I really think they should bring back Zest and put RB on neon for fracture, it was more effective anyways.

Is it just me or does watching EG play remind u of FNC's playstyle as well? The way they combo that ulti and util usage on a, I remember 100T Cryo dying like that on Lock/In vs FNC as well. Whatever EG is doing they are doing it great and i'm excited to see how far they get in this tourney. Hopefully and EG vs FNC sometime in this tourney. Derke vs Demon1 would be amazing to see.. 👀
