This was really great information... Because I get why more individuals are using this service and would use this e-service if offered. Then again, the information regarding Apostille info for notaries is a bit confusing.. This is what the sos gov site has for my state: "Apostille Information for Notaries.. When the Department of State apostilles a document, we are certifying that the public official or notary properly notarized the document..." So the sos will still legalize the doc and send it off.. Yes, I hope they either extend the program or make it nation-wide available or at least to the RON platforms for those notaries because it's literally just a step or two away from a complete process or transaction. leg work and foot work done.. lol.
@@SSMindSeeKING absolutely! They’ll still continue to authenticate the signature of a public official and notaries seal but now the whole process should be able to be RON enabled which is great! Hoping the pilot goes well and they make it nationwide sooner than later 🤞🏾
I do Apostille service. My documents always have to go international such as Russia, Ukraine, Spain, etc. It is a very good business to offer. However, I'm not sure about it being performed as a RON Apostille. I know that countries prefer to see the gold seal from the state and its authenticity. Sounds interesting if it is going within the states only. Thanks for the update on electronic Apostille.
@@rudene75 Glad apostille business has been going good for you! At least according to the lady, internally they should be accepting RON apostilles too but it’s still in the pilot phase so we’ll see.
I just purchased and completed you Notary 101 (RON) I loved it! Thank you! Would you considered doing a detailed training on how to complete an Apostille and how to make money even offering the travel service with it? I'd buy that, too!

Is there a resource where we can locate the states that allow these? I am not using the wrong keywords, but I can't find a list anywhere. I am hoping it's allowed in Texas 🤞
@@roseg6547 I found some info in a random email I got form a RON platform. The current states are: Montana, Washington, Utah, Rhode Island, Minnesota, Maryland, and Connecticut.
@@davrutin could be! I know at least for loan signings RON isn’t taking as much of a dent out of traditional notarization but I can see e-apostilles having a bigger impact on traditional apostilles.
