Over the years, I've met several people who worked with Elizabeth Montgomery - as writers or other members of the production team. She's unusual in that no one had a bad thing to say about her. They liked her as a human being and they liked her as someone to work with. Apparently, there was no 'side' to her. If she didn't like something, she'd say so and she'd discuss the situation and she didn't hold grudges if it went against her. I know the Hollywood hyperbole is usually based on loving or hating someone, but she appears to have been that rarity of someone that her fellow professionals generally liked and respected.
