I cried during the last 45 minutes hehe. Such a good movie, top 5 for me with Ratatouille, Soul, Wall-e, and Coco Original audio by @barbuwu1211 on TikTok
@@david34nl96 they moved a bed in when he came around, before that, Julietta definitely slept in a cubboard Edit: extra note This is also what happened with Bruno, his room also doesn't have a bed, so they just dragged in a madras/futon and hoped for the best
@@MCheshire I mean yeah, even though she has super strength it doesn’t mean she can’t do bodybuilding. Look at Mr. Incredible: my boy hadn’t worked out in ten years and still be lifting trains.
“Abuela you’re gonna get me a RAT for my birthday??” “I heard a pig being slaughtered *in France”* “ABUELA I’M BUFF” “I NEED BAKING SUPPLIES” *Best lines ngl* ✨
"I heard a pig being slaughtered... IN FRANCE." But just imagine the relief Dolores had when their gifts went away (after the Casita broke), for a couple hours she didn't have to hear EVERYTHING going on ALL OVER town. She was probably so happy, which is why I think she was having so much fun to be honest. Dolores was speaking louder than usual and was more expressive. :)
It must be stressful having Dolores‘ gift. Having to hear ants farting and the plops on the toliet when someone is having painful diarrhea everytime you go to sleep
I love imagining that Bruno had to get his gift first and he just predicts the doors, Julieta's and Pepa's gifts, and he just has to go into Abuela's room at like- 3am on his birthday, with horrifying green eyes and be like *"mother I bring news"*
Well, in a deleted scene with recorded audio, we actually hear Felix refer to Alma's room as "Abuela's room," so they probably do. Since she is considered the leader and most respected person in the household, it wouldn't surprise me. Then again, I don't know whether or not they would refer to her as that when they were kids or not.
@@jasminabduosman4067 Well, he is her son in law. Most sons in law don't tend to refer to their spouse's parents as if they are their grandparents. Also, I forgot that he said that in "We Don't Talk about Bruno," so mentioning the deleted scene was pretty pointless on my part XD
@@aspinthesnake5636 as I said Pepa and Julieta refer to Alma as mamá so Bruno would also refer to her as mamá or mamí, Felix calls her Abuela because he’s her son in law not her son, they’re different!
to me I think it would be cool if when she touched her dress inbetween touching the candle and the door it stopped the magic the candle gave her from manifesting into a gift so now theres just magic flowing through her blood stream and if she focused hard enough she could temporarily turn the magic in her into an unoccupied gift!
This morning I Said Camlio's Name wrong And ended up Saying Chameleon. So I called Camlio a Chameleon And then This.... I laughed Dolores and Camlio Are my 1st favourite
"Oh, I didnt get one" should be something about her singing, and being like "Wait, why is everything so slow? Oh. My. God, I can control time" or something
Actually that raises a question: when did they discover what Julieta’s gift was? Was she great at cooking ever since she was five? I know her gift is symbolic of her gentle, caring, mother theme, but it just seems like a very specific power, especially if she got this power when she was only five years old
My theory is that Camilo loved to mimic people and Isabella loved gardening and specifically flowers Luisa prob liked helping family and forgot everyone else's name sjdhejdhe
@@kadeytownshend5451 maybe he was a very worried child, always concidering what could happen, so the magic went "You're so concerned with the future, so now you can see it"
The thought of Bruno calling his mother "Abuela" when she wasn't a grandmother yet seems like an accident (probably was), but given his ability, it sorta works
The second I noticed Antonio got his gift immediately, I had a mental image of Dolores opening her door and her head immediately exploding from the sound waves.
Now I have a theory that everyone thought Julietta just didn't have a gift until she's ended up cooking and one of them got healed from like a Bruise or something after eating
Julietta‘s generation was the first one to receive gifts, so there was no pressure for them to be shown right away because nobody was expecting them. Pepa probably got revealed pretty fast, but Julietta and Bruno may have taken a while until Abuela noticed what was going on.
I have a feeling Julieta always liked to cook things for people to make them feel better as a little kid, so when she got her gift, somebody got hurt and she decided to cook something for them so they felt better like she always did AND THEN IT ACTUALLY WORKED
"cool i got my own door- why is is going to the corner" I just find this line funny, contine your scroll through the comments. When i watched encanto for the first time i did wonder if his door was always in the corner or if his door moved when he left.
What I imagined is that Bruno’s room moved or grew a tower because his gift needs “space” (yes I know Antonio’s room is like infinite but maybe Bruno’s gift specifically needed a tower). At the start there probably wasn’t a designed area for bedrooms, since it was just abuela & her three kids so another alternative is each one chose the area of the house they wanted? With this second theory, maybe Julieta chose her room closest to the kitchen.
He does it in the movie too! I can't remember exactly when, but he does. it might be that the name Abuela is used by the entire family to refer to her because she's a grandmother, or like how parents will sometimes say "grandma" when referring to their own parents because they're talking to their kid.
In our country, it sounds disrespectful to call their parents "grandma", unless their doing it to teach their child what to say to their grandma.. but the thing is, Bruno was only 5 here, so calling him Abuela while abuela still doesn't have grandchildren is wrong.
@@Thankyoufortheroses don't be sad he wouldn't want his audience all sad , can I tell you something? I have a picture of technoblade that I drew and I talk to it everyday!
It both makes more sense and makes it less funny when you consider that French Guiana is a territory of France that's in South America. (Sorry that I'm a geography nerd)
How I image Julieta’s Julieta: So, am I supposed to wait? Pepa: My finger still hurts from that splinter Alma (the Abuela): Maybe we can make something for Pepa to eat right now so she can feel better. Julieta, want to help? Julieta: Sure! *after Julieta cooks and gives something to Pepa* Pepa: Wait, the cut on my finger is GONE?! Julieta’s door: *glowing showing the gift had been discovered*
@@kouzee I mean, with Antonio, the door glowed, then he discovered he was able to communicate with animals, then the gift showed on the door. With Mirabel, the door disappeared the moment she touched the handle
Oh no i think dolores would be like Dolores: I HEAR EVERYTHING Abuela: We have a new gift Dolores: MY EARS ARE BLEEDING Fireworks starts Dolores:*screams in pain* Edit: omg this the first time i got so many likes, tysm
One headcanon is that there are fireworks at every door ceremony thing and so Dolores actually deaf In one ear because of the fireworks at her ceremony. Because she has super hearing it didn’t effect her so much but she covers her ears just from that incident. Also I love Bruno’s
