That’s how you should be washing your hands although do what the NHS or CDC recommends, much simpler and basic but effective to ensure maximum coverage.

I found this place while in hospital for a month after cancer surgery. It made the hours go by happily. I’m near final stages of terminal cancer right now so these videos mean all the more to me. You are SO lucky to work in a place where you make CANDY! Something that makes people happy. Just think of all of the joy you’ve shared throughout the world. I know you’ve given me so much joy so thank you for that.

**Part 1 to read 1st for comment ** I'm 🙏 you're still here 👀 with us 🗯😇, my mom has stage 4 lung cancer n we went thru chemo n radiation 2 years ago this month for 6 weeks n had so many hospitalizations, fluid drained from her thru the back a couple times n now on lasex to Keep it at bay n we do immunotherapy still but we down to every 6 month's , PET Scans , n also a drain in her heart 2X , 😩💔😭 now we had a pacemaker 3 months ago 🗯😳❗ God has been good🙌❤🙌 to allow us to still have her with us , n her to do as well as she has but attached to **edited due to ad this is part # 1 so read 1st, it won't let me attach comment**

Max I have to tell you how absolutely Fabulous the peanut butter creams are. Oh my word! I remember when you started and you are a candy maker sir. Craig I don’t want this to sound condescending but I am so proud of you. Look what you have done for your family. It really touches my heart. I first watched you on your channel and was so hopeful that you would find a career that you would be great at and you have done so much more than that. You are so great at this. Your videos have meant so much to me especially now that I’m having to be inside so much. But even before that they really made my life better. Terry I don’t know what you studied in college but let me tell you I have a masters degree and you are a thousand times smarter than I am. At 55, I am finding myself slowly finding it harder to bring up memories but there are some very specific incidences even from kindergarten that I remember so clearly. I've always hard a great memory so those slowed down times make me sad.

I know how to make it at home now. We have sugar and i just need to find the stuff they put in it and we dont have corn syrup but we have maple syrup so that should work the same. And you can just let the candy get hard in the pot and then smash it out.

How I came to Hercules Candies: I had been a raw food vegan due to severe health problems and had just switched over to a "raw to 4" vegan diet when I found No-egg's page. After watching his vids - and meeting his family in the kitchen - RU-vid started recommending this candy company to me... (I'm a freaking health nut who watches nothing but vegan channels, remember) I thought the algorithm was messed up - then one day I realized, that's Craig's mom! I stepped into the old basement just as Max was learning to wrap & unmold. Cara was there teaching him whilst saying she didn't know what she was doing... Steve and Terry had such great energy between them sharing stories, inside jokes, and favorite movie references - that I usually got... There was another daughter curiously hidden in her room or behind the camera who mysteriously refused to be filmed... A woman, I assumed was the crazy aunt, was psychotically strangling candy bags while answering the phone in the sweetest voice... At the end of each bizarre, sugar saturated, chocolate dipped episode - I found myself smiling broad and feeling happy. I kept tuning in, asking myself why I was watching people make candy I couldn't eat, when one day I heard myself answer that it was the people - not what they were doing - but who they are. Great people, great channel - now with vegan chocolate! I look forward to each episode and am so grateful to be a part of this tribe - even if it's only through a screen. Long live Hercules Candies!

When I was in 1st grade, I rode my bike home for lunch. My mom made me promise I'd return directly to school. I defied her, of course, which is why I was inside a store when a logging truck lost it's brakes and smashed the whole downtown with strewn logs. That's why I always say, "Candy saved my life."

Love this video! I happened to catch a video of Steve making brittle or hard candy back in 2017(?) ...Max hadn't started yet or had only been there a few weeks. You didn't have many videos on your channel and I think around 15,000 or so subscribers. I remember thinking who's this guy? And why is he making candy in his basement?! But you were both so endearing and then Terry, and "tie it like you're choking somebody" Karen. And then Max and the serendipity of him coming to work there. And moving to the new building. And now nearly half a million subscribers. This video took me on the whole journey. Thank you! I dont remember when i subscribed but it was right around the time Max had started. I stayed because i love to see how stuff is made and had watched all the tv shows and had even watched a couple be filmed while I worked at the Crackerjack factory in Grand Rapids Michigan so i just enjoy how stuff is made. I don't remember how I came across your channel but what I loved was listening to your dad and his puns. I am one of the ones that can care less about the candy making stuff. I just like hearing about your family and listening to your banter. Especially your Mom. I lost my Mom 12 years ago next week. Terri puts a little salve on the wound. I love her feistiness, humor and wit. She helps remind me of my mother. Even down to the running into a wall.

I love that you make it by hand and take the time to do it right with old school equipment. I taught myself how to make hard candy a few years ago for nostalgic reasons( as a kid I loved ribbon candy). Trying to find it though made the right way is hard.

I am so happy I found this channel, there are good Chocolates out there, but there is something special about hand made candy especially from a family and knowing it has been done for generations, the nostalgia, also love seeing the candy made, and knowing all the workers, thanks

Man, I have been having a hard time with everything right now. I'm having to be a stay at home mom and work from home and my husband lost his job but this video was just so nice and I always just catch myself smiling randomly about how lovely y'all are and how cool it is too see y'all do what you love. I came to this channel from a youtube search on how to make some sort of candy that I dont remember. But I watched a couple of videos and all of a sudden I started looking in my list for new Hercules candy videos. Been watching for a couple of years now. Candy making was taught to me by my Grandmother and my Mom. My mom who makes the best maple creams gets bombarded by her friends starting right after Thanksgiving to start making them lol. Love you guys! You are genuinely nice people with a passion for Candy. Will keep Watching.

It's funny how after watching you guys for the last 2 years that I still look forward to every video! The recipes are mostly the same and the candy making process is too.. but I find the candy and chocolate making process so relaxing that I can watch it time and again and still feel a moment's peace. Especially the videos where brittle us made! The baking soda making foamy goodness always makes me feel Zen. Lol. Not only that, it's the conversations and additional content that makes every video different and enjoyable to watch. It's not always the same old process because the conversations, jokes and banter make every video enjoyable in its own individual way. Keep it up, Hercules Candy fam!!! I keep promising myself that I'll order one of these days (Ontario Canada) and I will!! Once finances get back to normal. And don't worry, Terry!
