We're back! And we're making our New Pina Coloda flavored hard candy for our Tropical Medley pack. Max, Steve, and Joe taste test to see how potent the flavoring is. I like Max’s idea. Do a small run of all the fruit type mix and don’t color any of them. Mystery flavors have always done well as a marketing ploy.

I went to Hercules for the first time the other day and got a pack of the tropical blend, soooo delicious! I also met Terry and she was so sweet! she even gave me a little note and a whole bag of chocolate ribbon candy for free! what an amazing experience, thank you Hercules!

I just did a Google about the corn syrup and it just says that over time light corn syrup can turn a yellowish Hue but it's perfectly normal.

So! Recently I moved, and during it, my mother and brother were in a car accident. Thank goodness they came out of it with only scratches and bruises, the car however, did not. So things have been pretty stressful here, trying to get a new car and living the best we can without transportation as well as other world events currently happening - I just wanted to say watching these video help to keep me calm in these stressful times, thank you for sharing and allowing us into your fun candy making lives!

I think the "yellowing" of the corn syrup happens when there is air in contact with the syrup, oxydizing it turning it yellow

Its make out of corn and corn is yellow so you dont have to think about it that much.

The more the candy is pulled, the more air it will have in it, and the candy will have all these little air holes and it’s crunchy instead of rock hard. Love the videos!
