Hola… I am acquiring some Spanish vocabulary, and (at times) realize that I am recognizing more phrases and parts of sentences but I am not conversational. I understand a little more about learning at this stage and realize I'm lucky if my comprehension rates anywhere in the range of normal - at times. Even though there are many Spanish speakers in the area please suggest a good method or considerations to connect with a Spanish speaker for developing conversational skill? I should include that, unfortunately, I don't feel that I can justify the cost of a private tutor. I am learning something new about RU-vid today… enjoy. Gracias

Para mí vivo en México es muy tranquilo, ahora yo vivo en un ciudad que más pequeña de México, Aguascalientes, pero me imaginé que Aguascalientes un un ciudad muy bonito y las personas son buenos..por qué me recuerdo bien, una palabra más famosa de México" el que se enoja, pierde".. In Toronto it is very expensive. Expect to pay at least $1500-$1600 for a decent one bedroom apartment, and the closer you are to downtown the higher the price. Many condos will want $2000 + (1550 USD).

That cheap, really? I always thought it was really expensive to live in CA. I lived in a 2 bed/1 bath apartment in Chicago, Illinois (pretty crappy neighborhood but the apartment itself was pretty nice) for about $1200/mo.

Yo vivo en rosarito bc y aca muchas rentas se pagan en dollar y no en pesos la ciudad de mexico en realidad es bonita pero en lo personal no me gustaria vivir en ella y mucho menos pagar tanto por esos precios aca rento una mansion en un lugar frente al mar

Por ser México, agarra mala fama. Pero no es mucho más ni mucho menos seguro que cualquier otro metro en el mundo, diría yo. El de Barcelona en tema de robos, es mucho peor.
No es por asustarte pero se han visto casos de secuestro de chicas, prostitución, si mucho carterismo dicen que los mismos conductores del tren tieen nexos con el crimen organizado para pasar tarde y lento y se aglomere mas gente y asi a los carteristas se les haga mas facíl la sustracciön de bienes ajenos
Wouldn't this be . How expensive is rent in Mexico? I don't think you would pluralize it in this instance. It sounds so wrong to me. I'm learning Spanish and being distracted by the English. It may be correct, but doesn't feel natural. I feel in English Rent is an uncountable noun. Though directly translated from Spanish I can see where you got confused.

Suriel Parra really? I’ve heard it a decent amount. Sometimes Spanish can sound nice but for the most part it sounds annoying and whiny depending on the country.
