Nice truck young man! I had one back in the 90's, but was mostly stock. I can honestly say that the build quality on these OBS truck's is far superior to any truck made today. As you know, they are also a lot easier to work on. You did a great job on the custom look you went with. Very classy! 😎👍💯
@@elcompaadi Will do. I'm actually looking around for 2 of them that are in decent shape. 1 for me and 1 for my son. From there, we can build them the way we want to at my Uncle's shop while spending time together. Currently, I have a 2006 Dodge RAM, but I don't really care for it. I guess it's because I always had an OBS from the time I was 18. Anyways, the RAM was Father's last truck. It was given to me after he passed away. It's been over 10 years ago. Anyway, he switched from GMC to Dodge in the late 90's/early 2000's. The main reason was because he had a beer belly, and the standard cab RAMS do have a little more room in the cab. They sure aren't built as well though. You're right about the OBS being bulletproof! Take care brother. Liked and subbed 😎✌️💯
I recently got my 97 C1500 ext cab stepside and she's a beauty! Absolutely in love. She has her spots and minor issues but nothing is unfixable with some love and care. Under 150k miles. I dont drive everyday since i have a van from work. So gasoline aint no problem. Its such an experience to drive and its my first ever truck. And in The Netherlands its rare to see such trucks. Those modern Dodge Rams are actually fairly common in the workfield nowadays.
Im having to commute now close to 1hr 15 one way, gas would cost me damn near a car payment now so im gonna start going the camry route lol but forsure gonna keep my truck without a doubt
Yea i live in Cali with gas going down its actually made it cheaper from when i made this video i was doing $120 a week but now its closer to $75-$80 a week 88-98 the best in my opinion
Yeah not too bad, I drive my 2002 2500 4x4 6.0L daily and get about 500km per tank (98L tank) that’s about a week and a half of driving for me. So 3 tanks a month 1500km about $300 here (Canada).
Thats a pretty expensive daily man! My truck has around the same tank size at 24gallons i spend around give or take 350 and up depending on the prices just to commute to work, i am planning on maybe a new gas saver or just making more money to support my truck addiction 😂
Yea ive been getting more used to it ive been using my truck to drive farther its getting time for it to stay home and let another car take the beating
Damn i know thats like $160 a tank in cali lol i stopped daily driving mine wasnt making sense for my commute was paying around 650-700 a month ended up getting a 4 cyl for daily use
1999 gmc yukon and a 1998 k2500. Both are L31s paired with a 4L65es (upgraded on my own). My Yukon gets 19mpg city 21mpg highway and the k2500 gets 12mpg city 18mpg highway
@@elcompaadi I drive my 94 Chevy K1500 daily 380 miles a 5 day work week and never let the gas tank get below 3/4 of a tank full and just keep it topped off 2wice a week !!!
La neta nomas es preferencia nomas porque ya le meti el dinero de bajarle hace dos años, si fuera ahorita la bera dejado como estaba porque asi como esta no carga tanto peso por lo que lo ocupo me toca usar my otra azul
