1 time I see such a strange design, pistons. all manufacturers are fighting to reduce the mass of moving parts, and here the piston has an incredibly huge mass. what is this model? I have dealt with industrial compressors for over 30 years but have never seen anything like it.
THAT'S JUST INSANE, I did about 30 years in the machine tool industry and never saw anything like this. it is a miracle these parts go together and function, let alone last for any length of time i won't even comment on the udder lack of safety controls
You haven't seen a hydraulic pump repair. That's where the horror is. This piston will at least work, though not for long. That pump will not work after the repair, although it will not leak - the seal has been replaced. I would especially like to recommend the manufacture of a crankshaft with imitation of oil channels for lubrication.
you can be pretencious as you want but these guys are geniouses ! real skilled workers.. they are performing a technical miracle with nothing.. and that should be apreciated.. safety is needed but these guys are not lacking it by ignorance.. it's pityful to ignore their achevement and point their non-chosen conditions

When cutting the ring grooves why not have the specific width tool bit to minimize having to widen the ring groove so much ?? Only make one groove width each turning then !! 🤔

Очень познавательное видео. Даже когда работал на заводе где была литейка с вагранка , только слышал о вагранке. Гарь в литейке была не слабая и распространялась в радиусе километр. Сейчас увидел что такое ВАГРАНКА в живую. Топливо - дрова для разогрева и кокс. КароЧЕ. Так и вижу объявления в местной газете - "Куплю, сниму квартиру в Карачи , в пределах 1 км от литейного пр-ва не предлагать"
Это не круто и не здорово. Это нарушение всех мыслимых правил изготовления таких деталей. И это опасно. Поршень отлитый из неведомого чугуна, с неизвестным количеством и размером пустот может просто развалится при работе. И хорошо если только компрессор пострадает. А он не маленкий. И еще, если продавать ЭТО как замену настоящего поршня - это обман. Он и четверти от ресурса настоящего поршня не отработает. Общее впечетление - тихий ужас.
