It’s always really nice to see an actor you’ve seen in so many dramas in supporting roles finally get a main role.

Not just him, it also changed Kang tae oh's career....Public started seeing him through new light and realized how charming he is...This drama gave even Park Eun Bin a break...Each and everyone in this drama are getting recognized...All thanks to the writer and the director who gave each one of them a special role so that they wouldn't be just Sidekicks to WYW

im actually surprised he’s only just getting recognition considering he’s always the first actor I’ve noticed when watching dramas, and he always plays great characters ! glad he is getting recognition he deserves though!

So glad he's getting his recognition. I have known him since the kdrama Tunnel in 2017, and I have always loved him in whichever role he's in and whichever kdrama he's in. Excited to finally see him in a major role and maybe in the future he'll have a main character role soon!

I think the success of Extraordinary Attorney Woo is a combination of a great cast and excellent writing. The stories are complex and not based on criminal activity (for the most part). It's confronting issues that fall into the grey areas of the law and that part of the audience may or may not agree with. These are the kind of stories that attract viewers.

I’ve watched him in so many dramas like “Oh My Ghost”, “Let’s Fight Ghost”, “Weightlifting Fairy Kim Bok Joo”. I’ve liked him since!! I’m happy his finally getting recognized! Well deserved! I wish him the best in his career from here on. He totally deserves lead role in a drama or a movie!

literally every character in this drama is so interesting and fun I don't skip even a single bit of it while watching but I'd have to say Jung Myung-seok is my favourite character from this series, i love him 😂💕💕💕 let's hope the writer doesn't kill him though 🥹

He's such an underrated actor. I've seen him as an extra so many times and he's always that one character you wouldn't notice but once you do, he probably wil become one of your fave side characters. I remember some of his drama being Main character's bestfriend (What's wrong with Secretary Kim), Doctor (W: Two worlds) , College student who is always filming for Paranormal activity (Let's fight ghost), criminal Detective (Tunnel), usually he's getting supporting bestfriend roles but i'm proud of him that he gets the main character role this time 😊 more Main characters role to come.

I just love this show . It’s serious, but entertaining. KangKiyoung is just so cute and funny. He is a good actor. Please let him recover from his stomach cancer . I hope the ending of the drama is a happy ending for everyone.

I love him as Attorney Jung. The character is so endearing. He's patient with Young-Woo, and really espouses a lot of the feelings us 40ish people are feeling as we age and start thinking about the things we regret.

He’s been one of my favorite k drama actors for awhile. From his hysterical character in What’s Wrong with Secretary Kim to his scary cat killing character in While you were sleeping, he’s just been phenomenal with incredible range. I’ll watch anything he’s in.

I have always known him and enjoyed all his roles. I am super glad others are enjoyed him as well. He has been part of some of the best dramas. Maybe people should go back and see his other dramas. He is a joy to watch.

I recognised him the moment I saw him and I was so pleasantly surprised with the take of his role. Myeong-seok is a character that strikes a balance between serious and comedy in such a fine manner that it's almost hilarious, not to mention he carried the role so well that it made me forget the comedic roles he had played before this. I first noticed Kang Ki Young in Oh My Ghost. And although the character was annoying, there was something special about the actor, a genuine warmth, that made me notice him and I've enjoyed watching Kang Ki Young grow as an actor over the years.

I know him from "oh my ghost" he is one of the most annoying characters in the drama, but his amazing skill to portray the character is unbelievable

I loved Kang Ki Young in this role! His acting was absolutely spot on. I loved the warmth that he brought to the story and his wonderful interaction with Park Eunbin's character (she is absolutely fantastic). His role made me laugh and enjoy his considerable acting chops. I agree with others that it's nice to see an actor that previously acted in mostly supporting roles to a main character in an absolutely great kdrama series that I loved so much! I look forward to future roles for Kang Ki Young with much anticipation!

He guest starred in When You Were Sleeping as a man who killed neighborhood cats and eventually killed his brother for insurance money. He was so good in that drama. I cannot give his acting justice.

I have watched less then 30 dramas, and he's been in 7 or 8 of them. I was not aware of him being in 6 of those before starting them, but I always absolutely love his part

He is my and my daughters FAVORITE and has been for quite a long time. Ever since we saw him in weightlifting fairy we have affectionately called him “Uncle”. We are so happy he is doing so well in his acting career and can’t wait to see him in a leading role!

Kang KiYoung has shown the depth of his acting talents in portraying Attorney Jung. The drama rests on the skills of three actors, and he is one. He portrays certain subtleties like a smile, and that completes the segment for that particular narrative. I trust directors both in movies and TV dramas would catch these subtleties. I lved watching him in Woo Young Woo because I usually see him in roles as a villain or as someone who's like a fool so watching him as a smart and thoughtful person was a great eye opening to me. He still made me laugh but I really appreciated how he brought his character to life.

I'm so happy he got a main role as well as Junho (Taeoh). I've seen them in so many secondary roles that I always wished I could see them in a main role, specially Junho. He's so charming that I always ended up having a supporting character's syndrome XD And I also have to mention Kyungha (Sooyeon). I've seen her in other dramas as a supporting role and I'm glad she got a secondary main role here, she's such a good actress. I hope Kiyoung and Kyungha can get another main main role in the future (like Junoh's or Eunbin's). Cause even though they got a leading role in EAW, it was more like a secondary main role. Still, I'm glad they got their deserved spotlight.

Extraordinary Attorney Woo was one of my first exposures to South Korean television and while it seems to be a cultural remake based on the French TV series Astrid et Raphaëlle, it is an excellent series with very high quality acting. Seeing Kang Ki Young's character develop over the series was actually one of the acting highlights of the series. I enjoyed this series far more than I would have expected and Attorney Jung was a very important character in my appraisal of this wonderful TV series.

My cousin told me she was watching this series. I was a special education teacher. This caught my attention because it was about an autistic person. I must say, Woo Young Woo was portrayed excellently. If I didn’t know she was acting, I would have believed she was autistic. I love the three main characters, they have a chemistry that make them seem like true friends. The way Jung Ho looks at Young Woo makes me believe in true love. This show is one of the best shows I’ve seen in my life! I am anxious to see more. Hopefully I will learn Korean from watching this. Like how RM (BTS) learned English from watching Friends. My mama in heaven would be so proud if that happened. I remember her speaking Korean and me just looking at her like what is she saying? The adults only spoke Korean on rare occasions or when they didn’t want us kids to know what they were saying.

I love this series. The story , writers, screenplay, actors and director did an amazing work. We cannot understand the story without an excellent translations. I also learned a lot in the legal cases presented in the show and how it was resolved.The way he played the character as the lead /senior attorney is just flawless. All of the actors played their character very well that they don’t look like they’re acting at all.

im pretty sure he was one of the first kactors who stood out to me, ive always loved his roles! i even remember looking him up repeatedly and being super disappointed bc he hadnt had his own main character moment yet... when i started watching extraordinary attorney woo i didnt even know he was part of it but was elated when i saw him. im so so happy for him to be more recognised now, he has so much talent and potential and i really hope he will be able to play more great roles as he grows. i always look forward to seeing him on screen

Wow I am hooked on the attorney woo k drama....the most well acted and endearing story... It brings autism into a different light... and teach all of us that disability its just different but not less mind ability for most. Well done to the director and scriptwriters

I fell in love with him as Attorney Jung and realised that I had first seen him in I'm Not A Robot. His role there was good but Atty Jung is just unbeatable! Am now catching up on his previous shows (like Moments Of Eighteen) and very happy to be his fan, knowing what a sweetheart and family man he is and bonus point....his birthday is just one day after my dear hubby's! I'm heading to Korea soon for a short holiday and if there is one Oppa I could bump into, I would choose Kang Ki-young. :) Thank you for this great video!
