It sounds good on paper until you realize they have 21 days banner cycle per SSR character. That monthly calculation (30 days) can't even reach the pity of a new character they constantly flash on the players.
So you can get only 1 5 * you want every 2 patch so 1 every 4 damn that's quite bad when some need weap to min max them ... getting your 5 * every 3 month is stil ok tho but not that f2p friendly , it's ok tier , it's not hoyoverse rate at least you can get 1 5 * with the rate when hoyo is around 0.6% and it's almost impossible to get anything without pity. ..
Since this is from Yongshi, which also works on Azur Lane, I would expect it to be pretty F2P friendly and I was right. Of course it’s no where near as Azur Lane but it’s 2 different game. With the rate being pretty high 1.6% compared to majority of gacha game out there I expect people are gonna have most of the characters. Especially if the game was under Yostar since they give out free stuffs pretty often. 1 thing I find funny is that B rank rate is lower than A rate lol.
Aether Gazer can't catch a break. Bianca Alter release in PGR killed it on their 3rd patch. Now PGR release PC client which CN does not have 10 days before global launch.
I dont expect pgr pc client to affect the people that were gonna play aether gazer in the first place tbh, these people already played pgr and are ready for something more casual.
welp not people like myself who prefers to play pc because playing on phone isn't as good as playing on pc. I only started pgr because pc client just released. I couldn't careless about pgr when it is still on mobile only.

im struggling to play it on the nox player, theres no default keybinds, and the ui is kinda annoying, is there anywhere I can find keybinds others have made and use them?
I can state that I tried downloading this minutes ago, and dropped it immediately when I realize it was in no way shape or form made for PC. I am sure there ways to configure the emulator for PC or controller inputs. But I can't be bothered spending a half hour to get this to basic functionality before I can see if I even like the game. I find this a flaw of the entire gacha genre. I start up the game, and then get immediately through into a tutorial without any way to access the system configuration. The tutorials also often lock you out of your standard pause menu with system confirguration. So most tutorials, I am forced into a 15 FPS slog (since it is running at high graphics than I would use) and using controls schemes that I dislike- and forced to use when trying to get core information from tutorials. This added another layers since I ahve to work between the game and the emulator to try to figure out how to get something other than touch screen when I have a mouse. If this was an RPG, I might try to work my way through, but this is a combat game where I cannot move my character and use attacks at the same time without dragging my mouse over. NO.
Once I get Tsukiyomi's weapon, I'll save up for future characters like Hades or Marduk. I like how F2P/casual friendly this game is and I'm hoping for its global success.
@@riazne1r I drop PGR quite some time so I don't know it improve yet, but in PGR I remember you can't max rank character with just 1 copy of that unit, while this game while you can't get every unit as F2P if you unlucky, however you technically can Max any unit rank with just 1 copy by using Intel Crest I prefer to max my unit than just get every unit, so

@@ArmisHart they mean by they want Aether Gazer to have its own PC client. Gacha games like AG or Genshin can be really laggy on emulator. Like i prefer to play PGR on the PC client than the emulator.

I’m ok with weapons that adds stats or has its own special mechanic but a weapon that unlocks skills for characters? Big red flag. I’ve seen this in Guardian Tales and it just opens more windows for power creep. Imagine saving up for a character & weapon for 2-3 months, investing your hard earned resources on them just to see him/her gutted by a new character. Total waste of time.

First you choose a faction, then you pull, you will receive a baby from this faction. After you have the baby, you can evolve the baby to the weapon of any character you have of this baby's faction. For example, lets say you have Shinri and you want it's personal weapon modifier: 1st Step: You choose the Shikigami faction and pull until you get the cute pink baby, 2nd Step: You choose awaken form (located in the gacha below the faction button), and choose Shikigami - Kyokotsu 3rd Step: Go back to the home screen, then go Modifier, choose Shinri, Access Key, and equip your newly acquired Kyokotsu. (After all, if you don't equip it, it's useless, right?? DONT FORGET LIKE ME!!! XD )
Also I like aether gazer team ultimate animation combo. Also I saw CN recent patch with noticus where his team does ultimate team combo. Really hope they add more team combos like AG
Been 5yrs f2p on honkai and I feel this game to be challenging for f2p like for the gacha, will I gonna play this game longer then HI3 cus as f2p as PGR it's didn't last long and just come back cus PC and maybe quit again sometimes 😂😂
After regretting playing games from mihoyo I always look at some reviews hell the only game that actually is f2p is alchemy stars which I sometimes never play unless it’s for grinding for resources but anyway I’m just curious to see if Aether gazer is actually a f2p game and not some fanboy defending it when it turns out to be p2w
@@optimusprime7243 just cuz you cant get everything u want without spending a dime on a free game doesn't make it not f2p, That just makes u entitled lol. If some games allow u to do it, good on them, and its a great thing if they do, but you have to keep in mind they are the exception and not the norm. Not every gacha company wants or cares about keeping a game afloat solely with skin/cosmetic sales by making the gacha system extremely easy and lenient, because historically its been a good way for games to die or run out of funds. If you horny bait ur audience it can probably work tho, like Azur Lane lol. but not everyone is looking for that and it becomes even more important that their gameplay is good and that takes a massive budget which again, not every gacha/mobile game company wants to dump 10s if not hundreds of millions of dollars into a project when they are some of the ironically riskiest gambles they could take.
I also really regretted playing Genshin, I hate the fact that I can't get my characters, and especially, even if I do, it will never be complete due to the constellations
I also play on ldplayer. Runs perfect. I use semi Punishing Gray Raven controls. Rb for attack. Lb for dodge. Them xyz same order as pgr. So I don't get confused when I go to pgr.
the game is very f2p freindly there is litteraly no point to spend that’s why it’s revenue pretty low but still almost the same as pgr this game deserves better
This notion that not having a pc port means the game will die needs to die in a burning pit and those who support this notion should go into the pit as well considering that there are probably more phones out there than PC's.
Can I make a suggestion for your videos? A lot of the times, I feel like you're talking too fast and I can't understand you because of your accent. Can you try to speak slower or put in subtitles please, I've had to make the volume much louder and put my ear close to try to make out what you're saying but it's still hard.
Looking back at this now, I love Aether Gazer and PGR pc is a huge clown show lmao. Redownloading, Delete, Attempt to Download, Do it all again and the 99.48% loading bar won't progress. If Aether Gazer does come on PC I think I'll stay on mobile since I can lay down while playing it.
Most F2P game in my darn opinion. AG is definitely the type of game that will make everyone lucky cuz the rates? Damn good, I got Osiris in just 20 pulls like????? Oceanus y 30 and 10 pulls later I got the bunny girl. I have plenty S ranks without spending a single Penny. There will be times when I’ll have to go full pity like in Tsukuyomi’s and Flame Tyr case but damn! Yongshi did us really great with this game
Dead wdym it’s like Honkai it releases on mobile first then PC same as PGR. PGR is one of most free to play friendly compare to other gacha game it’s not dead just underrated game

@@tenstytrue. If pgr had never gotten pc client I would've simply played on ldplayer. But hopefully emulators/computers get even better so emulators aren't so much processing power.
yeah the problem is most of those 6 months was spent on just the english dub alone most likely, because that takes alot of time to do. So, they practically wasted 6 months on something that barely anyone will use, and they can't exactly give us any major QoL updates because then what little CN playerbase remains will potentially riot over the fact that global has a better start, not having to suffer like they did. I'm not bashing the game at all, its just I can't see the justification of 6 months of silence. They haven't mentioned any of the QoL they will be doing at all since the CBT. On top of that, why decide to launch their game when Star Rail literally( I personally don't like Hoyo games) just came out. Marketing wise, that's an insanely stupid decision. It's almost like they want it to fail on purpose. I want it to succeed, because I did enjoy my time in the CBT (albeit limited due to work), and it would make the perfect 2nd game for PGR, which is my main.
