This is an on trail discussion I was having with myself and the camera. I was trying to decide if I would finish the Tahoe Rim Trail in ten days or push the full 25 remaining miles on day nine.
Nice video. That's a lot of gains with the elevation. I use backpacking to get in shape so I go through some of the same thoughts on my short trips. It's mostly based on food. Either how much I have or how much I want a post-trip meal😄

On this trip I actually planned to do a fly by resupply on day five in Tahoe City but the draw of some town food pushed me to get to TC in 4 days. It enabled me to do a town stay in a hotel and a Nero the next day. lol.
