I'm not a speed run kinda guy, but I try my best. I really don't do speed runs with my Monster Trucks because they are hard to control as they aren't built for it. That said, this did really well and went faster than any of my other solid axle monster trucks. This is going to be my favorite RC of 2020. Get one!

That Pull to the right under hard acceleration is Most likely from torque roll. You wont be able to Trim it out... An ASM gyro setup would help possibly

That LMT is fast and tough at the same time, seems like they have a winner to me. I remember when you used that road for a runway for an rc airplane, way back in the day!

The RTR comes brushed so not fast. I did upgrade mine to brushless and run it on 3S, don't have a way to see how fast it is now, but definitely made it quick and a lot more fun.

Mine out the box had a broken right rear dogbone and pulled hard to the right. Didn’t look like you were experiencing the same issue.

Because for racing, that out of control speed doesn't help. 2s is pretty fast in them and closer speed to what many people race

it will still have torque twist. Iv seen a lot of claims that the sideways motor eliminates torque twist, but that is caused buy the driveline not the motor. the chassis is trying to twist the axle as its drives the diff.

Im always looking for solid axles mt's thank god i can stop thinking about converting my kyosho foxx to a mt. I'm really happy a brand stepped up in the game of making a good mt. It's the first good one

It is fast for a solid axle and you can change the ends. Just cut the little wire

Not too bad. I do have a couple of things to point out regarding the handling. * Live axle monster trucks are unstable at high speed in general. You see it in every RC model and you see it in the real thing. My Mad Crusher GP is an absolute handful at 45MPH; wallows around like a drunken sailor without his sea legs once it hits third gear. Drives minty perfect when it's doing what it's meant to do. Don't fret too much trying to get the LMT to track nice at 36MPH; it's not meant for it. * 36 ain't bad, but it shouldn't need 3s for that. That's within the realm of 2s to be honest. * I'm gonna have to respectfully, but very strongly, disagree about it being the best live axle MT on the market. Kyosho's been selling that truck for over 20 years at this point. Theirs can be had electric OR nitro, the nitro version will run even faster still while the electric version uses full on 1/8 scale motors, the driveline is proven to be bulletproof, 4WS is much easier to add to it, it's about the same weight though prolly a fair bit bigger, and doesn't come with those really dumb split-diameter wheels that the LMT has so it's gonna look a hell of a lot more scale. AAAaaaannnndddddd they cost about $150 less to buy. No doubt the LMT is a good truck but I'm not going to be trading my Mad Crusher GP in on one anytime soon.

Change the pinion gear up to 2 or 3 teeth more of a difference and then do another speed test. I know it's wobbly already but it will definitely give it 35mph on off road.
