Love to see how poker gods structure their thoughts about poker, especially when it comes to training. Awesome video.

That video covers a lot of material at a rapid pace. I'd love to see more hands analysed at a slow pace. Are those available on your pay site ?

I can win every now and then, and usually put up a good fight. But for the most part, the chess computer absolutely wrecks me.

Nice Video! In the second hand (A7o) why are we pure jamming A7o but not AKo? I would thought it would be the opposite! Thank you!
@jonathanjones1573
@jonathanjones1573 Год назад
I think jamming AKo denies future value off weaker hands your opponent may fold, while jamming A7o may force your opponent to fold hands that may have you beat like A8 or A9 or straight/flush draws they can hit on future streets. That's just my thoughts

This will sound somewhat evil but I have to admit it feels good to see that even poker geniuses like Fedor can't get a high score on gto wizard training :D

Whats the hidden magic about Q6s? Am I missing something?
@parthenocarpySA
@parthenocarpySA 8 месяцев назад
It can flop well and give you good implied odds on straight draws. Doyle wrote about Q6 decades before solvers showed it can hit

What is theory behind deciding to call or raise

@hunterbursey
@hunterbursey 2 года назад
@@stevenwhitaker6831 it means that calling in the specific spot with their specific hand is losing money on average. The player has put their opponent on a “range” of hands, and have determined that range consists of enough hands that they lose to when they call that it makes it a non-profitable call. This logic applies only to river call spots where showdown immediately follows the call. Edit - There is a more complicated decision making process when there are more decisions to be made after calling (calling flop and turn for example) because you have opportunities to win the pot besides showing down the best hand (when your opponent(s) fold).
