It is. But from the way the Ferrari goes through the corners you can hear the tires squeak and shriek. Wonder how the DRS will play out. And I hope I will not be punished for assuming Leclerc makes it through the formation lap this time.
Massive shame for sainz penalty a lock out for Ferrari would have increase leclerc chance to win now on the other hand leclerc is on his own against max
I enjoy this traces. But remember, racing with full tanks is a very different situation. Maybe the cooler temps will help Ferrari with tire deg, but time will show.
In abu dhabhi gp when charles went to grid, a few cheered at max donuts but the cheered when leclerc waved them a hand, leclerc is the future champion, the red knight, the new schumacher ❤
This is the closest I've seen to any car matching RB19 going into a corner (and still not that close). It seems like RB places so much more priority on entry (and DRS) than everything else, which makes sense in the race since those seem to be the best passing windows. I wonder if Checo's videos look the same.
@@Stormvogel262 I like Verstappen and Leclerc so I want them to both do good and for it to be a close race. Also, I meant to say that it is quite cold, not quite close, meaning that the colder temperatures should help Ferrari and make the racer closer than usual unlike Monza.
@@Stormvogel262 *don't you mean "max"splain it. But I Agree, I think what max did was kind of dirty. If it weren't for max's overtake into T1, and the safety car, I think leclerc would have won.
@@henkhofman-wx9yi He might not win, but to say he’s not motivated cos he hates LV is a bit silly. He doesn’t get motivated by the show or the surrounding events. He’s motivated by winning the race, he’s a pure (sometimes to a fault) racer and all he wants is P1 regardless of anything else.
Charles in that RB would qualify half a second faster than the rest of the grid. After the first half of the 22 season, he started to crack whenever he was under pressure. Ferrari ruined him.
Weird, I thought Ferrari will be faster on long straights with better engine and lower impact of DRS on this type of circuit and RedBull will be faster in corners and on exits but... it's literally the other way round
Why would you think that? The Ferrari is a killer out of the traction zones and can heat the tyres better than others (helpful in the coldest dry track conditions ever). Also RBR are running a bigger rear wing than others so DRS is more powerful for them than others
Ferrari really showed up this race, (make the Sainz penalty saga even sadder) but I think Max only did the 1 attempt in Q3 & it was still good for 3rd. Even with a dominant car he’s so unbothered not having pole position it’s actually hilarious.
@@swordchaos1181 qualifying was 2-4am where I live, (I ain’t staying up for that 😭) so I didn’t see it live. Don’t remember where I read he only went out the one time.
For me it feels like Max "forced" the car in the "ideal" line while maybe losing some speed, while Charles just let the car slide into the corners gently without too much correction. What do you thik?
Well there is this small thing . Ferrari sets great on of lap times for poles they dont perform that well in race trim. Where Ferrari focesses on the Poles redbull and verstappen focus on the race . Leclerc just equalized number of poles for Ferrari of Niki Lauda . But number of wins is just a hand full . Where verstappen won more races not beeing on pole.
Ferrari car is aerobalanced to be very strong is slow corners and out of the corners. Small turbo for quick power. The redbull has a split balance that allows it to be very easy on sites but not that great in single lap performance.
This could be similiar to Monza, when Max could not overtake Carlos until he made a mistake, because Ferrari's straight speed is super high. Mistakes + strategy might be the key to win this as their pace can be similiar.
If you look close, you can actually see the cars go inside each other multiple times. Also the grass is black instead of green. I think this might not even be a real video.
Bro, are you on drugs? These are Quali laps set in Q3 at different times during the session. They are just compared through the 3D analysis. The cars did not set the lap at the same time.
@@smontariogaming1234 it doesn't matter when they did the laps, cars can't go inside each other like that without having a crash. Also you seemed to conveniently overlooked the point I made about the grass. 🤔🤔🤔
With this pole position,Charles Leclerc reached his 23rd pole of his career and that means he is equaled Niki Lauda in the 2nd most polesitter for Ferrari just after Michael Schumacher. What a lap🇮🇹🇲🇨🏎
@@hommusC1 but lauda had a much better car than him right now plus lauda is better in the race than qualifying.Lauda won his last championship with McLaren but without scoring a pole position
@@Plate- really?!?! 😂 I was anticipating the video title in the context of after the race was completed, and figured it may not make sense. And now as predicted, it doesn’t.
