So the way you test a 2000 psi hydraulic pump-- four drops of oil and if it pushes against your finger, it's perfect.

It's not Fiat. It's a Hema pump. John Deere uses them on smaller tractors too. Supposedly made in Turkey. Looks Pakistani to me.

They made them from lead? Wouldn't it be better using aluminium because the hydraulic pump will lasts some seconds longer?

Not lead! It's an aluminum or tin alloy.

Hemm ran across this video on RU-vid. I took the liberty to see the model and it looks like it might be a steering pump for a fiat 640 tractor. Maybe I am wrong 😅. Fiat would never use this sort of rubbish, they may fit a Fiat but not made for Fiat. When you set a work peace in a vice you should use a dead blow hammer on aluminium not a steel one. Something is not right here, a CNC mill and a micrometer ?
