I'm starting to clean windows again this year waiting on my next semester to start, I was hyped because I loved skyscrapper window washing with my step father when I was 18-20... When they told me "Oh we work with waterfed poles" I almost asked Can I still squeegee tho?😂 It's so satisfying... Like a zen relaxation while working.
Carry and use a small 6" squeegee for frame work to clear the water off. It will help prolong the life of that 18" rubber. 6" rubbers are usually longer left over cut rubbers and or are cheaper 😊. Nice job 👍

I never really use the window washer at work, most of the time I just used my microfiber/cleaning cloth or I just spray it and then squeegee it. Most of my friends who's my senior (and more pro) use the two hands technique for speed, where they put the window washer in front of the squeegeee, witch I'm not really good at. Though I did incorporate that technique with my microfiber cloth, instead of using one I use two, people at work even called me tai chi boy because of that 😂😂. PS. If you don't know about the two hands technique just watch the world record window cleaner guy and you'll get it.
@@keithoyoung34 depends on the glass condition, sometimes I just use plain water, sometimes water with just a little bit of dish soap, sometimes glass cleaning chemical. Whatever works best and doesn't leave any residue.
I clean my on windows. I live in N. Ireland. And I have windows 900x 1500 mm. I need to learn that. Is v hard. You make it look sooo easy. V professional. Well done buddy 👍🏻
Great question! A typical business gets cleaned once every 2 weeks or once every 4 weeks. If they are a restaurant or some place that has super high traffic, then they usually get cleaned every week or once every 2 weeks.
What product is on the wash sponge? And do you dip it in a bucket or something? I detail cars and it’s extremely difficult to properly clean car windows.
Our franchise locations get a lot of their cleaning equipment from the awesome abc Window Cleaning Supply and we just dip our mops in a little soapy water!
CCPW, we always clean in the rain as long as it is safe for our cleaners to be outside. By maintaining the cleanliness of the glass, windows stay much cleaner, even after a rainstorm. Rain itself, doesn't make the windows dirty. Rain mixing with the dirt on windows and creating muddy streaks makes the windows look dirty!

If you're not comfortable scraping at ur window with a razor, you can also use oven cleaner, CLR, lime away. Wet a rag, wash the window with the chemical. Let it sit for 2 mins, then wash it off, or try scraping it off with something flat and plastic that won't scratch the window before squeegee or pat drying. Best of luck to you! :)
