I have a theory. From what I remember is that Future Barry said he turned evil once Barry was gone and Iris & everyone else didn’t accept him. They didn’t accept him because he wasn’t the real Barry. I have a theory that Future Flash originally comes to life as a time remenant and turns evil years after Barry goes into the speed force at the end of season 3. That’s why no one wanted him because he wasn’t the real Barry. The real Barry is stuck in the speed force. So he turns evil and gets thrown into the speed force by Kid Flash in this timeline and Barry escapes the speed force because there’s another person taking his place. Then because he’s trapped in the speed force forever he waits till the 2016 Barry throws the philosophers stone into the speed force to get out and get his revenge on everyone for treating him like shit. Also, the way he knows the philosophers stone will let him out is because he could of had it before he was defeated and thrown into the speed force by kid Flash in this timeline to get his suit once he officially turned evil. Originally it was Barry who threw him into the speed force in the future but since Barry is in there himself Kid Flash does it. Let’s say Barry made a time remenant before he leaves, that time remenant shows up and gets disrespected by everyone for not being the real Barry so he turns evil using the philosophers stone and Kid Flash stops him before he does anything and throws him into the speed force allowing Barry to escape and Future Barry is stuck there till the 2016 one throws in the stone allowing him to escape and get his revenge.
The funny thing is that this whole show isn't even the original timeline. It's an Alternate one where Barry gets his powers WAAAY sooner than he should've. Thaz tuff.

For those who don’t understand: When Barry created flashpoint, he created a sort of time loop where Savitar Is created and fights Barry. In this loop, Barry (from the future) tries to fight Savitar by creating many time remnants. Savitar kills all but one, and that one time remnant is abandoned and forgotten. Since he is broken, he goes back in time and becomes Savitar, the god of speed. And then that time remnant that is Savitar fights future Barry again and the same thing happens over and over

There's 2savitar stories of how he becomes savitar which makes no sense. one was the time reminant becoming savitar which is the one that died at the end of season 2 with zoom and was brought back after flashpoint got erased and then the one that was from the future when he killed all the time reminants except one that went back in time and became him they said its the same person (both the one that died defeating zoom and the one that killed all but one). Savitar's existence is the result of a casual loop in which he has no beginning or end but only an endless series of events that lead to his creation. Beginning in a post-Flashpoint timeline after the death of Iris West by Savitar, Barry Allen at some point in 2020 created time remnants to help him stop Savitar, however, Savitar slaughters most of them but spared only one remnant to live; as this time remnant was to become Savitar at some point in the future. After his creation, the time remnant was shunned by Team Flash because he was an aberration and not the real Barry. Before each encounter, Savitar would use Philosopher's Stone to possess a person and use them a medium under the alias "Alchemy" to prepare for arrival by creating meta-humans for him to command. At some point, Savitar discovers that the "Black Flash" who was once the original Barry's main rival, Hunter Zolomon/Zoom, is hunting speedsters who mess with time so Savitar devises a method of killing him should the need arise. Desiring revenge on the original Barry, for shunning him for being an aberration he traveled to 2020 where he fought during which Savitar killed all the time remnants but spared the one that would eventually becoming him thus continuing the loop of his existence. However, to his surprise, Barry was able to defeat Savitar by imprisoning him inside the Speed Force, during which Savitar was stuck in a time loop in which he relived the most painful moment of his life driving him further into insanity; thus wanting him to destroy his original self's life even further.
No, that's what time wraiths are for but when the time wraiths came out of the breach they attacked zoom instead of Barry because they were more angry with zoom then they were with barry. It says it in the episode.

For anyone who decided it was time to get to the bottom of it, this is most likely and believable theory to me: (In the sake of continuity, I'll be giving each version of Barry a "nickname") In season two, Barry creates a temporal duplicate to defeat Zoom, in sacrifice of the time remnant's life. He dies. Then in Season 3, Barry creates Flashpoint. Everything goes back to normal, but there are changes everywhere (Like John Diggle's daughter [Sara] turns into a son [J.J.]) and a change in the past that created Savitar: the time remnant from Season 2 doesn't die; instead, he was sent into the Speed Force, where he lived in a prison of Hell. Now he's watching his mother die over and over again. Time Remnant goes insane, turns into Evil Barry and seeks revenge on the Real Barry. Continuing on, Real Barry throws the Philosopher's Stone into the Speed Force, where the Time Remnant gets his hands on it. He uses the stone to create a suit that grants him extra speed with blue lightning. He uses the suit to escape the Speed Force and travel back in time to seek revenge against Real Barry. Savitar succeeds, kills Iris (and everyone he loves, maybe) which drives Barry into this four-year pursuit after Savitar. At a last ditch attempt, Barry creates multiple time remnants into a final fight with Savitar. Savitar kills all remnants, but one, leaving him scarred in the face with burns. The Scarred Time Remnant gets shunned by Team Flash because he's not the real Barry and just a disposable hero. He becomes broken and alone, in so much pain. He wants the pain to end, but to do that, he needs to become a god. Scarred Barry takes the suit from the Evil Barry, travels back in time, pronounces himself as the first speedster, becomes Savitar, gains followers and sets a series of events that creates a paradox: He encounters Real Barry He kills Iris West Barry gets sunk into the dark that he decides to create time remnants to kill Savitar Savitar kills all Time Remants, except ONE. Time Remnant gets shunned by Team Flash. Repeat process. Then leads us to the finale to Season 3, where Real Barry beats Savitar, destroys the suit, avoids making time remnants and Iris killing Savitar. The paradox ends. Here's why I think the suit gives him extra speed: The suit turns his lightning BLUE, but in the finale, he gets shoved out of the suit by Real Barry and then, destroys the suit. Now Savitar has no suit. But when he attempts to kill Real Barry again, his lighting was RED. Then, Iris killed him.
The problem with this theory is that just by being in the speed force doesn't automatically turn him into savitar. He would need to already BE savitar by that point for Flash to want to throw the stone back to prevent savitar from escaping, otherwise, he's not savitar trapped in the speed force, he's just the time remnant stuck in the speed force. Furthermore, I've always disagreed with the term "time remnant". That's a misnomer. Its an alternate world Barry, because he went into the past by a minute or two, to get help, and in doing so, creates an alternate earth. Its not a copy flash. Its a real flash who just decided to help future flash and sacrifice his life, but why then shouldn't future flash decide to sacrifice himself to save past flash from doing it? having someone else sacrifice themself is not very heroic, and it is still a flash with a family, friends, hopes, dreams, etc. Its not artificial. Its just an alternate flash, with a life. This would be why the speed force gets furious at Barry Allen for doing that - because he doesn't realize that a time remnant is still a full life. It is not a throwaway. To treat it as such goes against the very idea of being a Hero. This also creates issues with the "original" Barry Allen, because if I were the speed force, I'd have sent time wraiths out to capture the original flash, pull him into the speed force and trap HIM there, and replace him with the time remnant who was "sacrificed" because its not HIS fault. You see what I mean here? There's all sorts of holes with this theory. Its nice, but doesn't make any sense. Savitar is a future Barry Allen who fails to kill Savitar, but in doing so, creates Savitar. After he becomes depressed and shuts himself away IRL, he turns into Savitar after *that* point. However, how does future-broken-Barry turn into Savitar? THe one from 2024. He doesn't have the pocketed face marks either. How does he create the suit? Is the suit just made from calcified speed force?

Well, I think its pretty simple in my opinion, I mean think about it...first that Time Remnant died...but when Barry created Flashpoint, that never happened and the Time Remnant was left scarred but alive trapped inside the Speedforce. Then when the timeline changed back, it escaped and turned itself into Savitar to get revenge on Barry for messing with time and ruining him, but in order to maintain itself IN the timeline Barry made when he erased Flashpoint, he killed Iris which caused Barry to fight back so hard that he made more Time Remnants. Then Savitar kills them all and left the real Barry and the surviving Remnant behind, soon everyone started to reject the Remnant and treat him like his life meant nothing, so he went so crazy, that he went back in time to forge his history as the God of Speed, and gets trapped in the Speedforce, and becomes the new Savitar while the old one dissapears , and then the loop begins again....but this is just a theory, because Savitar is just an aberration, a being created from this loop, and he has no beginning or end.
A few weeks ago I had really convinced myself that Savitar could be Wally West. While I think this is definitely less likely now, especially given Killer Frost’s reaction to the reveal, there are still some reasons why it could be Wally. Yes, I know: why would he kill his sister? Well, it’s been established that Savitar has been driven insane by his time trapped in the Speed Force, and we’ve seen Wally trapped there, too. Plus, in 2024, Barry finds Wally catatonic after an encounter with Savitar. What could have shaken him up that much? To see himself in such a twisted form? While some guesses include Savitar being Ronnie Raymond, he and Wally never interacted before, which weakens that theory just a little bit for me. Also, there’s just something a little karmic about Wally being sidelined all season, especially since becoming Kid Flash, and then coming back to turn the tables on everyone in an epic revenge move. Wally also spent some time in that cocoon concocted by Savitar early in the season which gave him his powers - remember how Savitar said he created himself? I’m still on board with this idea, though admittedly not as strongly as I was a few weeks ago.
I can understand and agree that savitar can be the flash. You have to think what savitar told barry "you took everything from me" and if you have watched the show from the first episode you know that the person the flash has hurt the most is himself , taking parents away from him , his friends eddy and ronald. Savitar can very well be a future future flash who came back to punish himself for messing with time as much as he has and for everything he has taken.
Wrong, yes Barry became Savitar when his Time Remnant died, but he truly became Savitar when Iris died. And throwing the Philosophers Stone into the Speed Force was one of the reasons he was able to escape.
I wish they went with the comic book Savitar, where he is a cold war pilot who gained a connection to speedforce and found a cult and become “god of speed” to that cult, intead of maling him an alternate barry.

Barry says in the season 2 finale he was willing to sacrifice himself to save them. So he was WILLING to sacrifice himself. And why would he come back to take revenge on himself if he knew he would do it if he were him, which he was.
in the comics, Barry says that to Future Flash, and future flash says, he's no longer in that timeline, since he's back here, so if Barry dies he's not affected by it

That's different from my hypothesis, I guessed that when he faught zoom making the time reminit he died, but when he sort of fixed flashpoint the reminit secretly lived(making the scar on his face) and realised that he couldn't return to his life, knowing this he feels like a person just to be thrown away. And just like the reverse flash, he feels that he needs to take everything to the guy who did this to him, so he makes a loop of savitars over and over creating himself again and again by killing iris
So in short, in order to defeat savitar he created 4 time remnsts, but 3 of them were killed by savitar leaving one time remnant. Every one from Team Flash didn’t acknowledge him, making the TM resent every one from Team Flash and ensuring the creation of Savitar
Not really because the time remanent wouldn't have known the future of the other Barry, Savitar lived like the present Barry and knows what he's done. So the time remanent is not Savitar, we're still waiting on the explanation.

I think it would be interesting, like the opposite of the "grandfather" paradox. When you go back in time, kill your grandfather so you potentially could never be born. But if Savitar were like a really mentally disturbed version of barry, he could go back in time, kill Iris, make Barry mentally unstable and become Savitar and thus guaranteeing he comes into existence

I think Savitar was created by that when in the future barry tried to stop him by creating time remnants (but that not happen so he was erased from existence), one remnant survived but team flash trapped him in the speed force because they don't need him, Savitar figured out how to get from it momentarily but to be forever out he needed the stone of speed force
The Time Remnant Barry is indeed Savitar but Barry going into the speed force is when Harry tries to get Barry's speed back for him to race Zoom. Zoom challenged Barry to a race so that he can harvest his power for a weapon. Zoom took Wally and in exchange for Wally Zoom wants Barry's power. In doing so of getting Barry's powers back the particle accelerator "kills " Barry. That's one scene. Barry's mom being killed over and over is when Barry went back in time to save his mother from being killed from The Reverse Flash A.K.A Eobard Thawne. (The scene is just repeating over and over for the theory.) Or when everything went South in Flashpoint to where Barry had to release The Reverse Flash to stop the past Barry that stops Eobard before he creates Flashpoint to make everything right and to kill his mother afterwards.

Muddyb Mwanaharakati this isn't specifically how Savitar was made. In the future, Barry creates time remnants to stop Savitar and one of the time remnants gets rejected because he's not the "true" Barry Allen, so he goes back in time to become Savitar.
+True Flash Yeah I was confused about that too. My prediction is that there was actually a god of speed named Savitar and Barry's time remnant goes back to time to become Savitar. Later on, he kills all but one of Barry's time remnants to stop Savitar. And that one remnant goes back in time to become Savitar. It's a cycle that lasts forever.

Actually, it isn't stated that the love he loses is Iris but because current Barry cannot watch his mother die over and over Savitar has to do something to make him fall into darkness, hence killing Iris.

I don't think it is a time remnant. Mainline because that concept was used in the previous season and I don't think they will rehash it. I actually think 'Future Flash' is Barry from the timeline where his parents were still alive. And since Flashpoint changed all of that and would have caused his parents to die, that would explain why 'Future Flash' wants revenge for having everything taken away from him.
