Seems like a lot of the doubt is from Lance Zierlein being so low on him. But in his video it seems to me like 90% of his low grade on Lassiter was just because of his 40 time. This guy played against Harrison Jr. Egbuka with Stroud throwing them the ball, Brian Thomas Jr, Jalin Hyatt, Xavier Legette, Malik Nabers, Troy Franklin, Ricky Pearsall, and Quentin Johnston. Pretty much every receiver I listed ran a 4.4 or 4.3, but I never saw anyone run by Lassiter. He locked up Nabers and even Harrison Jr only got two catches against him and neither had anything to do with speed. If he can keep up with those two guys then he can keep up with anyone. Really bad take by Zierlein imo. Dude is not a slot only corner, barely even played slot

We will see. Those shifty vets will breakdown his techniques and he doesn't have the makeup speed. My thing is he doesnt have good hands. Slow and cant catch...we will see if they reached...

@@llproductions343 And Okudah is fast with good ball skills, yet has been one of the worst CBs in the NFL for 4 years now even playing for different teams in different schemes. Okudah and Henderson both got torched in their 1st day of OTAs. Either Lassiter wins the starting job, or the Texans are in really bad trouble. If you want turnovers and a lockdown CB, you have Stingley. Lassiter just needs to be good enough to challenge offenses and not be an easy target.
