I currently am employed here as a temp. The schedule is nice. The pay is fair. The working conditions arent terrible. Its overall a great place to work. Yes even as a temp you have to be ATF cleared. Meaning background check and drug test. Cant have anything on your record. Hope my work ethic gets me hired on full time

Anderson is simply inexpensive because they make 800,000 lowers each year. The machinery has paid for itself a very long time ago so the cost per unit is reduced to increase sales volume.
They aren't using the stagnant machinery. They are installing more robotic cells and those are very expensive. Say they sell their lower/upper for a profit of $25, a $5M cell (with 2-3 CNC machines and an arm, plus tooling), they need to sell 200K, 1/4 of their output, to have that paid off in a year. That's not including all the other machines and tooling they're adding.
yeah the high volume, high end pallet changing tombstone CNC machines, and fine-tuned processes like machining performed forged and extruded blanks opposed to machining from solid billet aluminum makes a massive difference in price
@@xenonram but they don't need to pay it off in a year. they finance it. i'm betting their margin is alot tighter than $25 but lets say its $10. if they are financing a machine on a 5 year note.... thats a million a year call it 1.2 with tooling and intrest, thats only 120k lowers to pay for that cell.'
Just purchased my AM-15 and put 100 rounds through it today and I love it. I am very happy with my purchase and I am glad to see an American company founded and ran by vets. Keep up the good work.
I worked in manufacturing for ten years, every company gets raw material from another supplier to make their product. It’s not a bad thing, it’s nothing special or anything though. You get raw aluminum that’s still in the white from a forge and you machine it. That’s pretty much what every company does. Just some better than others.

Your lowers are great! I have three that I bought years ago...I've put thousands of rounds through them, they're bullet proof...so good, I just bought three more....thank U for high quality at an affordable price, you rock!
You know what, I second that response. I have two Anderson lowers that I've run thousands through as well and never a single issue. I also have an Anderson 300 aac barrel that Im very happy with. They are rock solid, reliable.
Theres some AR snobs out there lookin at their rifles trying to figure out if their stuff was made at andersen after a long day of internet bashing them!
H Stetser let them pay top dollar while we have the inside track. The worst rifles these guys make will shoot better than I can 😂 I used to be a DD devotee .. I couldn’t or wouldn’t let myself buy anything else and when they still made stripped lowers and were still fairly well priced I thought they were the shit. I still like them but because of the DOD contracts and their high sales in the civi market their prices have almost doubled. Try to find one under 1400$ most basic rifle they make. Funny thing is I’ve seen the lowers and uppers that they sold with Anderson box markings and I’ve also seen them ( older ones ) with the keyhole markings. Not bashing Daniel Defense or anyone else but I’m glad I’m over my AR SNOBBERY PHASE . I’m Glad I can see that it’s all the same stuff almost. I’m so glad I took a chance on ANDERSON. I know I won’t be disappointed.
I couldn’t agree more. I had the same snobbery going even when I knew about it lol. I thought that these high end company’s had something better when in reality they were selling the exact same thing. I’m even getting to the point where I am buying non CHF barrels because as you stated chrome lines will shoot better than I ever will.
I just bought an Anderson am15. so awesome to get a quality firearm and still have some cash to change a few things for that "customized" feel. Thank you!!
I love my Anderson AM-15. A little over 1000 rounds through it so far and haven’t had a single issue. Just replaced the trigger, but not because I needed to. Just wanted an upgrade. Great product at an affordable price. Thank you for your dedication to supplying freedom, and thank you for yalls dedication to defending our freedom.
Anderson Manufacturing doing it big time! Keep pumping out them AR-15’s boys! It’s been awesome seeing our local gun manufacture become a leader in the U.S. firearm industry. Can’t wait till they start making semiautomatic pistols!
It is now mid April, 2020 as I am watching this and reflecting on my AR collection including 3 builds using Anderson lowers and uppers, internals and other parts. ALL rifles have been assembled either by me or for me. These are all 5.56 mm caliber and although I have several 7.62 X 51 mm rifles already, it's time for a new build using this caliber since I prefer using the 7.62 NATO round to all others. Keep on rolling out your products !
Just got one of your fine rifles yesterday. So many people like to show off their knowledge by being critical. Not analytical but just critical. It doesn't sound like your smart if you just say "Sounds like great product. I'll try it" much easier to pontificate and say "well,I heard (fill in the blank). "Wow he criticized it and since he never held one and has never seen one he must bs sooo smart". Its a great gun so far.
Moved to Kentucky about 3 years ago. Just now realized your here! Love it. Blown away by this state. All my family/friends thought we were nuts and say "Whats in Kentucky?" If they only knew :D
@@jdirt1982 what about the dude that builds the lowers and fires them straight on the bolt catch!!!That will totally fuck that part I have seen them fail many times when people dry fire them without anything to protect the bolt catch or the lower it self..
I just bought an AM-15 with the LPK and Ambi safety. This is my second Anderson lower and it won’t be the last! You guys are the only vendor that keeps my employer stocked with lowers during these crazy times!
Haters need to hate to make their boutique parts justified. I have a bunch of anderson lowers built with PSA parts. All good quality and they go just as bang as the cool high speed low drag guys boom sticks.
ALWAYS find a NEW old vid that i can relate to.. Have a AM-15 AND worked a machine shop for 30 yrs..Made few parts for Bushmaster and Aerospace and loved it..CNC machining at it's greatest..LOVE Anderson, IT JUST WORKS ,1st time , all time..
Say what you want about Anderson there a very few companies making forgings. With machinery and quality control an upper and lower can only be so correct. I've used Anderson often in builds and they perform as well as ANY upper/lower on the market.
I bought some Anderson Freedom a while back in the form of a .300 Blackout upper. The price was substantially lower than other brands to the point I thought it had been made in china! Glad to see it is All American. I happen to have my own nicely forged 7075 T6 paper weight handy. I wonder if, for a case of beer, I could push the green button on that lower CNC machining center one time while everyone is on lunch break? No engraving needed, as it would be 100% self made for personal freedom, and not for sale! I know the answer so don't reply, unless you just need to let me know what brand of beer. Haha! And thanks for your service to all of you Veterans and active duty out there! Been there, done that.

Haha nerd. You dont need it to be staked for any civilian application. As long as its 40lb-ft of torque or more it aint coming loose. Its also a bitch to get staked castle nuts off, should you need to replace something On top of that, if you really want a staked castle nut, just do it yourself. All you need is a punch and a hammer
No just stake it. It's easy and loctite is more permanent. Just stake it. You can take off the castle nut after you've staked it. You can't with loctite.
@@cloroxlavenderscent4307 Just stake the darn thing and that's it. At our range one of the top 3 causes of rifles going down during training is castle nuts coming loose and were not staked to begin with. Loctite is a less desirable choice and you can damage your rifle trying to remove stuff that is Loctited down. I learned to hate the stuff with a passion because customers bring in their rifles and their buddies have all told them to just put a little bit of Loctite on it. That "little bit" seems to be 1 ounce or more at times and is always the darn red stuff at that!
I love Anderson, I have many Anderson AR's, also use lower PK's and never have had one problem due to Anderson parts. Anderson parts are priced perfect, and the products are very nice, no rough edges and clear markings and very nice finishes. God bless America and Anderson Manufacturing.
Got one today with ALL upgraded parts,,, I'm in love. I can't say how good the gun you saw made really works out. Because I got a Totally modified version,,, But WOW,,,
Very first build is my 7.5" .300 blk pistol. It has an Anderson Barrel and honestly I have no complaints at all. It is a 1:7 twist so it does subs just as well as supers. It's capable of respectable groups. Generally an moa or better, depending on ammo. Gassing was better than my Ballistic Advantage barrel until I changed out to a lighter .300 blk specific buffer spring. Gas port is a bit more generous in the Anderson barrel.
The Freedom they make is some of the best quality in the world by some of the most genuine people in the world also.. They are Kentucky people, my brothers and sisters. Proud to say i own a lower made by them, and it is top notch and matches the upper bought elsewhere to a tee! Perfect! The best bang for the buck there is right here! 40.00 bucks for s tripped lower with trigger guard built into the frame.. Ugh, i bought 2!!
iconbadgta AM's lowers are cerro forged 7075 with a satin-like finish just like high end makers but competitively priced. They hire a lot of veterans and care deeply about their customers too, very underrated company.
Agreed! The price for their lower (with built in trigger guard) in the link if it will let me post it was 39.99!! For a complete stripped ready to use lower! I love my AR! I built 2 identical ones, one for me and the wife! Anderson gets my money from here on out! That lower sold me on their quality and products! I still look at the fit and finish in amazement! 2 months back I bought my Anderson multi cal lower, and bought the complete upper from primary arms , fits like a glove. My AR 15 , M4 looks the business.....Anderson rocks.
@@reddevilparatrooper I've seen more than my fair share of Anderson Lowers fail at the Range & after a few months of continuous/heavy use. I'm sure their lowers work for casual/limited use but if your pushing alot of lead downrange often I'm yet to see one stand the test of time.
@@kodyballard49 Yes lowers will fail with continuous use. I have seen Colt M4s go out of tolerance during pre-deployment training and deployment to Iraq. The obvious problem would be the trigger pins would start walking out. Units don't carry spare lowers because that's a controlled item with a serial number. The soldier just gets a spare rifle. The $200.00 rifle makes it out to combat.

I have two A.R. 15‘s I built with Anderson product. One of them is a 6.5 Grendel and I love that that is so sweet the other one is a 5.56 with a 20 inch barrel long range shooter haven’t had a lick of problems with it I’d buy another one in a heartbeat
Just bought my first AR a couple weeks ago....An Anderson. Haven't had the chance to shoot it yet, but it's a gorgeous pistol. 10.5" barrel AR pistol in 300 Blackout. Thanks Anderson!
I'm glad you guys showed your process...I really don't understand how people think something like a spikes is somehow better made simply because it costs more. I've had nothing but good experiences with y'all's stuff. I even put your lower on a $1000 gun build I did, because I trust it that much to sit next to the FN barrel.
Cheap doesn't mean bad and expensive doesn't mean good. There's only one budget AR15 that I know of that makes both their uppers and lower and polymer parts in house and you don't need to pay a lot for a entry level AR15. One AR15 I won't recommend to people is Bear Creek Arsenal (BCA). Had two firing pin break and they didn't even last 200 rounds. Thanks for the video.
