We are glad you like the cat videos! You can turn on the closed caption “CC” bottom and the words will come on the screen. RU-vid gets about 95% of the words correct.
Hi fellow Michiganders. I have watched many of your videos. Nice job. We are looking at getting a cat (kitten) for our travels. We have a camper van so not real big. We wanted to get just 1 because of the size of the van but now thinking that 2 might be better for the cats. Does your cats share a litter box? Maybe you covered this but I don't remember. We don't really have room for 2 boxes and 2 carriers. Our last cat started traveling with us after her brother passed away. So it was just her from age 15 to 18 and she was great. My dad is from Caro BTW 😊
My whole life, my cats have shared litter boxes and I never had an issue with it. Right now we have 2 boxes for 4 cats and each cat likes to frequent the same box but sometimes I see them switch. We scoop the litter once a day and if the box seems extra full, we’ll scoop it twice a day. Your cats are so cute! I'd say they're all well behaved in the car. When i moved 6 hrs away and took my cat i let him sit in the car for an hour beforehand with the ac on so he could get used to being there. He's too old to be wandering around, but he stayed on the seat till he had to use the litterbox, then i pulled over (rough roads, he would have fallen over!)
Thanks! They know they are cute and use it to their advantage almost daily. LOL Taking cats on the road that aren’t used to going on car trips is always stressful. It sounds like you did the right thing to try to get your cat used to the car before making the trip.
