As someone without friends...this hit the feels. The first Ghost Recon was easy to get random partners...but aftercthat gaming went hard on with streaming and became a sport so I yt became so competitive instead of having fun

This is how my son and I play, we just cant find enough people who want to play it the same way. almost no hud, no warnings, no enemy markers, no friend markers plus we dont use the compass as it still warns if you are spotted or in contact, o, and we cant use bivouacs to move around.

Weirdly enough, I found Wildlands had tougher stealth/combat. Breakpoint was only challenging early game when you have crap gear and the drones in the sky were actually a terrifying concern when they showed up at bad times. But then it quickly devolved to where I had to actively go out of my way to make the game tougher, and the autonomous drone-tanks were just kind of stupidly overpowered to deal with usually. I feel like they needed to double-down and focus on making Breakpoint more of a survival game where the enemy is constantly better equipped, has the numbers, and is keeping you on the defensive. But after like 3 hours I already was walking in through the front door to most bases and just gunning everybody down because aside from the rare heavy-armored guy there isn't really a need to play it safe/slow. While at least in Wildlands there were enough missions where you needed to be stealthy or the baddy would escape, or they'd start calling in a ton of artillery, or you'd need to get creative by taking out lights in a base so that you could creep up and plant C4 on a power generator so that you could disable the base before going loud. But Breakpoint overall felt like a step backwards. They almost give you too much tech too easily and seemed to focus too much (originally at launch) on making all the gear have RPG stats. Meanwhile a gun is a gun, it kills when you shoot somebody. I loved using the Sterling SMG despite it being arguably a crap gun, because it was still plausible. But in Breakpoint there is no reason a like Scorpion should be outperformed by like an MP5 because some arbitrary gear-score. So while I applaud the actual game devs for improving Breakpoint, giving us tons of tweaks/updates as demanded by the community, I am still sick and tired of Ubisoft (on the corporate level) hamstringing these games by constantly trend-chasing to make a quick buck. F**kin NFTs and a Battle Royale literally nobody wanted...

Dude, I play Wildlands and Breakpoint with a couple IRL friends, and there's nothing quite so satisfying as pulling off a sync shot with your friends.

This one was awesome it was really fast paced and had me on the edge of my seat every corner you guys took

Me and my buddy teamed up on breakpoint. I was infiltrator he was sniper. Most of our missions consisted of me trying to sneak in and him covering me from a vantage point and marking enemy locations and patrol patterns. It was a lot of fun, but became repetitive because we were so good.

Honestly, if you want a realistic approach you definitely want to focus on 2 aspects: - No hud. - Not using silencers. Silencers are arguably the biggest realism flaw in Wildlands / Breakpoint as they work completely differently in real life. Take a look at the first two targets you've taken down. Enemies not noticing those couple of shots is totally unrealistic. When you stop using silencers, the game becomes actually hard, as the only way to stealth kill enemies is to either melee them or use tools like the echelon's shock pistol or sync drones. These 2 aspects I mentioned above as well as some difficulty level tweaks and limitations create an almost pure realistic experience - stealth becomes tricky and requires lots of planning. Other things worth recommending: - No rocket launcher - No drones (not too unrealistic, as Breakpoint is also about new tech, and special units would most definitely have those. - Not being able to fully modify your weapon on the fly - No fast travel

Interestingly, I thought I recognized the area they started in and when I logged in myself, it turns out that is the base I had last raided. I've only recently started getting to know the map properly so this is a new base for me, yet I still recognized it. Kind of a cool coincidence.

This is how I always wanted to play with other. This or having a drone operator on live feed recon guiding us and sniping from afar.

This is an amazing tactical gameplay, but the little "stall" on the enemy AI soldiers before they die is absolutely ridiculous, and is what totally killed the immersion for me in this game (for example at 10:23). You shoot them and they're like "was I hit? Oh I was. I gotta die now. Bye" lol.

mmm... thank you for showing me this.. love the open world and the communication play you can do. im and old gamer and got to play the great titles that have inspired todays gaming. love the metal gear stealthy feel; but the real communication with teammates . been playing ghost recon since the Nintendo 64 .

I really enjoyed TC games. I played FS for a while alone but it was too much at times. Got a chance to play with a few players on Steam and they were good at it. Taught me a lot. After a while, one of them, come to find out, got his account hacked or, was hacking that account, don't know for sure, he said it was his, anyway. So, myself and another friend that was also his friend helped him get the account back. After that, he removed us both from his friends list and blocked us. Later down the road, I started playing it in SP again and was going strong from what that player and my other friend taught me but then, it come to a point in a town where I had to take out 4 of the enemy, at once. not to sound the alarm. Was never able to get by that mission and just quit after a dozen attempts. Uninstalled the game and have never played again.

the spartan mod in nexus mods should be installled imo. That makes everything better, you will be sweating balls and stealth is much harder.

That's very true, Most of your online friends probably won't even know what steam is, at least for me and being homeschooled is even worse to get friends

Alot of entry points but I would've taken the river and got up on the docks and started from there. In real life u would want to go the way that they would least expect but it must also be logical of course. Sometimes there are no other options. When you come out of doorway try keeping that weapon closer to the wall and door ways. Realistically they can grab your weapon through windows and doors to try and disarm you. You weren't in combat so the chances were low but still a good practice. And as you move by windows and door ways you should take turns pulling security on them(basically) as you're moving past them at whatever speed. there's a whole list but you still did 10x better than most I've seen

I would love if they remade the older GR games with updated graphics and AI, maybe camera positioning too. Far less work than making a whole new game, and it would practically print money for them if they did it right.

Anyone else having issues with updating the game in uplay? I thought it was my connection at first but I've updated other games perfectly fine, but breakpoint keeps telling me to check my connection and it can't start the download.

Can i recommend to you using semi auto for rifles, it takes a bit of getting used to but theres nothing more satisfying than clearing buildings like this and poping people with single shots
