How God speaks to us through others 

Well said! Blessings and lessons can be found in any situation. I love Him for that. And dang it, there are times that some people just need mouth mufflers.

When I ask, god/ my guardian angel, for advice, I get the answer, sooner or later, Mostly help in my teaching of special needs children, through my tutoring classes, very different from teaching main stream highschool (year's 7-9). I get the guidance and wisdom only on the day, never before never after, as for my weaving, it happens and this was gift from God and my guardian angel 😇, colours and structure 🙏. I am not that close to God and the Church, but I am convinced that He speaks to us, not directly, but He does send us signs or messages through events and other people, just as you say ❤

I believe that we all have a direct line to God. It's called prayer. I know when I pray, I tell God everything, my hopes, my worries, my heart, my sorrow. With prayer there is no barrier that could ever stand between you and God. When I pray, I feel such a sense of love and understanding, warmth and reassurance. I know he's there with me, listening and caring. I also believe like you that he sometimes has more subtle ways of talking to us. Ways we don't always recognize as him reaching out to us. Sometimes it is a lot harder to recognize it when it runs contrary to our wants and desires but you always see it when you look back on it later on. I feel like I spent years fighting and pushing against what he wanted for me and it wasn't until I was knocked all the way down that I embraced it and found the reason for why he wanted and needed me there. I wish I hadn't fought it for so long. That's not to say that I didn't still struggle, but the people I helped, the lessons I learned, the community I became a part of, that was what he wanted for me. That was where he needed me. Those people needed me. They needed a shoulder to cry on when their mom passed away and someone who would cry with them over her loss. Someone to talk to when their wife was going through withdrawal and they didn't know who to turn to with their worries. They needed someone who cared enough to treat them as a person and not an EMR number on a computer screen. Then, when I had learned what I needed to learn and helped the people who needed me, his hand guided me to my next journey. I'll never take it for granted the lessons he taught me. I feel that I am a much better person for enduring what I endured, for meeting the people I've met, for learning what he needed me to learn. I believe that God wants us to learn and practice compassion above all else, and he will always provide for us. When I look at the world around me, I realize that if we all could practice God's compassion, our world would be a much better place to live. Almost paradise even. I absolutely remember the video and comment that you spoke of and I completely understand feeling a slave to your work. I have been there too. I'm glad stepping away helped your reach the clarity you needed in this time and that you saw God's hand in this experience, even if it felt negative at the time. What he needed you to know was important. Please continue to make videos like these (about your Christian faith). I cannot really convey how incredibly resonating it is to hear from others their own journeys with God and I do believe that speaking openly about our experiences and how God has reached out to us helps people who haven't yet realized that if they just quieten the noise, they would hear him speaking to them too. I personally enjoy and look forward to talks like these and I hope we get to have many more of them in the future, as the moment inspires you to speak on them. Completely unplanned is always the best. :) That's when God is giving you that little extra push to speak up. As the people in my community always end a conversation, have a blessed day. To hear God's voice and recognize it for what it is, is a true blessing.

Usually, I am not looking for a new lesson on weaving because I am a member of your classes, but I am looking for your kind, soft, and patient advice. I love your Christian approach and I do believe God talks to us through different people. It happens to me all the time. I am joyous at hearing this video and pray for your peace, pleasure, and you tube videos that reach all of us. We need you. You are a blessing......but no pressure!! 😍

Thank you, Kelly, I also believe that God speaks in many ways and through many means. As I listened to the podcast, I realized that I often do handwork while watching/listening to my favorite RU-vid channels, and I neglect to push "thumbs up" because my hands are full. I now commit to putting down the needles/hook/shuttle long enough to let you and others know how much you are appreciated.

Good video Kelly and something I struggle with. I've always been the type person who can convince myself of anything so I always wonder if what I've gotten is an answer from God or just me convincing myself. I've often told God I'm very obtuse and could He please put the answer on a signpost or something so I will see and interpret it right. I'm going to try to step outside of the issue and give myself time to really hear what He might be trying to tell me. I wish you well and look forward to another video when the urge strikes you.

I don't think this is "kooky" at all, I think it's more common than people realize. I've been here and there around the world irl and have seen this in action with folks of different faiths and have experienced it myself. When we're quiet and still and intentional enough, I think communication with the Divine is a natural experience. In some ways YT and big-platform social media can drown out that connection (and create a kind of mental/emotional addiction that keeps us focused on the platform -- that's by design btw, it's baked into the way social media is designed). Brava for your talking about it.
