I so agree, Ive been following uniteds youth for a while, and this next generation coming through is very very exiting especially the midfielders. If we can really build a new class of 24/25 will set the standard for all incoming players.
Exactly. The 2 players needed to play with Mainoo are just those lads. Gore gives me that Scholes vibes, I've been following him, I've seen the kind of passes he gives. He could develop into something big. With Odeleye, that's another all rounded player to partner them. I think now that the senior players are failing us, we should intergrade them. Who thought that Mainoo and Garnacho would be our best players this season?
Man Utd constantly produce well rounded players but never have a system for implementing them into the first team. We spend far too much money on players to do half the jobs our academy players could do. I wish we could be like Barcelona and how their youth and first team play the same way so when a player is good enough they just get called up and don’t need a settling in period in unfamiliar positions
It's been a while we produced some level headed midfielder. The best we have done in a long time is McTominay, now it's exciting to see whats coming through. Mainoo is one of a kind, a rare breed. Oyedele has the quality needed. He's tall, pacy, strong, and technically gifted.
@jamaalrennis3881 it's a joke to mention mctominay but let's be real Mctominay isn't the worst in our team when there are Martial,Antony,Rashford there
Probably the video I had been waiting for. Until recently, I was more excited by Gore than Mainoo - I just think he's more exciting, in the mould of Modric. Although, my stocks on Oyedele are slightly dropping. Could Collyer be ahead of him. Also, I always saw Mainoo, Oyedele and Gore similar to Madrid's Kroos, Casemiro and Modric, at youth level
Jaxon Wilcox (former city academy director) and southampton's DoF is the man to maximise the potential in our academy. there is so much room for improvement in the player development department, namely loan system. Oyadele's is a powerful runner and would compliment Mainoo so well. also the midfield talent in our u18s is something scary. Fletcher, Curly, Fitzgerald, McCallister, and Daveny are a good crop of talent that could surprise everybody in the coming years
I agree on current system at Man Utd & way ETH works, there don't seem to be encouragement for new/younger players. Look at way Amad(proven championship success) stuggled to get time for last 2 months. Now just think of what ETH can do to Gore & Oyedele on bench.
Sadly Gore just picked up injury on loan at Port Vale. Agree though he is very Scholes (late era) esque with his deep play ability. Surprisingly very strong on ball as well.
Utd should sign Amadou Onana and Maxi Oyedele would be perfect for back up CDM ..a loan next season for Dan Gore could be beneficial as his current loan spell is likely to end as his injuried ..
Pardon... Is Oyedele already training with the first team? Is there a path for him coming through? Or do you think he'll be stuck in academy limbo and then sold like Iqbal?
@@unrealamas I don't think his training yet with the first team ..and it depends on the coach n the coaching staff about his chances in the team .. I feel pre season tour will be crucial for all the academy players ..They need to shine n show their talent during that period, Garner was the most disappointment for me had a wonderful loan spell but Ten hag didn't give him a chance so all we can do hope for the best for the youngsters and the club
@@Culturelens piss take. just watch football and don't let agenda or foolishness cloud your judgement. that is as complete a midfielder you'll see at this level at a poor PL club LIKE an Everton
Well thought out video. Just as a point to note, these 3 supplemented with a couple of smart signings in the midfield could really excel. Oyedele seems like an ideal backup to Amadou Onana in the medium-term and maybe a replacement for him in the long-term. Same goes with Gore and Aleix Garcia, at least if we go to the diamond midfield you’ve been talking about in your recent videos.
I like this take but Joao Neves is next level and way better at the same age but with gametime Dan Gore could catch up to his level or at least reach the level below which wouldn’t be bad
United should just give them some playing time, it's not as if we are even competing in the Prem anymore. Nothing to lose and best case scenario we uncover another gem like Mainoo
From the footage i have seen kobbie mainoo play like frankie de jong. Good at receiving ball from deep, press resistant, good dribling and anticipation. oyedele like camavinga really high work rate and good tackler. Probably because of his rangy stature his movement really similar to camavinga. gore on the other hand more like scholes. Dan gore his high work rate and good technical make up for his small stature. Really good going forward but also good dropping deep. Just my opinion
If you watched gore during preseason also against crystal palace in carabao he controls the midfied more than bruno. He rarely loses posession and that is his strength i havr witnessed
A very expensive stop gap for an average player. Onana wouldn't get near the City, Liverpool, or Arsenal squads, so why should we accept mediocre players for silly money.
Dan gore as a 10, mainoo as an 8 and oyedele as a 6. A future midfield trio from carrington I doubt mejbri and shoretire will breakthrough like these 3 but I think fletcher and collyer can. We'll also need an experienced trio of mount, bruno and hopefully youssouf fofana to start
Mainoo Gore and Maxi is in true sense a modern configuration of 3 hybrids, rather 3 midfielders who are less specialists and more of the old school midfielders who used to be complete in terms of profile, irrespective of level, to be able to play as 2 midfielders in the middle instead of 3. Imagine if we could take the next step in football meta and could create a setup of 3 versatile 8s, that's exciting.
Oyedele, gore,Mainoo and Isak combo in United’s midfield would be exciting, energetic and promising.what they need is good, tactical and technical coaching.
Manchester United's biggest mistake since SAF left is ignoring the Youth Academy. Class of '92 which helped us win the treble, made Manchester United what today we are, and they were even vital in 2008 UCL win with Gary Neville, Wes Brown, Paul Scholes, Ryan Giggs, John O'Shea, Dareen Fletcher were all Academy products. Apart from Louis Van Gaal, we rarely saw rise of Youth Players apart from Mason Greenwood under Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, and Kobbie Mainoo under Erik Ten Haag. I had high hopes for ETH who have been known for promoting young talent at Ajax with majority of his squad built around academy youth products. Buying Sofyan Amrabat, Wouth Weghorst, Casemiro, and others during their twilight while having players like Charlie McNeil, Dan Gore, Hannibal Mejbri, Maxi Oyedell, Harry Amas, Shola Shortshire, Alvaro Careras. We need to focus on Academy, and for that we need someone like Roberto de Zerbi who can identify youth prospect or raw unknown talent like he did with Pervis Estupinan, Karou Mitoma, Billy Gilmour, Ansu Fati, Bart Verbuggen, Tariq Lamptey, Joao Pedro, and Julio Enciso. We have a possibility of creating Class of '25 and it is long term strategy similar to like Arsenal and Real Madrid but it will work. We need to focus around Bruno Fernandes for next 3 years, post that Kobiee Mainoo. We need to keep Scott McTominay, and sell most of the others including Jadon Sancho, Marcus Rashford and Mason Greenwood.
If United sign a marquee midfielder, I see both players struggling to get 1st team football. Hopefully they both can have a decent pre season and good year loan spells
Its sad that Maxi could be leaving on a free this summer, his contract expires this Summer and its unfortunate that Ten Hag hasn't given him a chance yet.
TenHag would rather allow himself to be sacked than try Gore and Oyedele plus Maino combo. Our season has ended, MU can't finish in top 4. He should give these guys some time in the senior setup
Don't forget the likes of Jack & Tyler Fletcher especially Jack who is flying for our youth. Under INEOS no doubt our youngsters will be given far more oppertunities to stake their claim
Pogba, Seedorf, weah, Eto, Drogba, Pogba, Yaya Tore…what are you on about? There have been loads of players of african heritage who were worldclass. Not to mention the best, Pele!
@@nithinrajieasow847You do know what heritage means right? He is of african heritage whether you like it or not. His DNA was african, most likely from west africa like most africans who got stolen and traded to the likes of brazil, Jamaica, America and the likes. If you are ignorant enough to try and debate this then go ahead, but i won’t answer because its pointless having a debate with you
nahhh this is a waste of a video. hardlythe generation where youngster have equal chance as how beckham and co had back then. man u will keep buying players
