New reactor! New reactor! New reactor! EDIT: Okay, so, serious talk time. Here's the lowdown. I struggle with depression, myself. I'm a sensitive guy. Lots of empathy. If you're anything like me, I have a feeling this show is going to hit you powerfully. Not right away, mind you, but you'll know it when it happens. I'm here to say stick with it, because when this series takes off, it somehow keeps getting better and better. Arcane is quite possibly my favorite animated series of all time. I'm 44 years old and a life long animation fan, so that's not a small thing. You're in for a ride, friend.
@timhaldane7588 hey Tim! Thanks for sharing and for being here. I'm really enjoying it alot. Story wise and visually it's amazing. Such strong characters too!
Arcane is hard, it is one of the most emotionally demanding pieces of media that I have consumed. So beware, and beware, because this series hit really hard.
Arcane is fantastic, no doubt. And I know almost nothing about the game! Please finish Blue Eye Samurai too, though, even if you don't post your reaction. That show is far too good not to finish.
@greenfalcon11 I know jack shit about the game either but lordy knows I want to play now. I will for sure. It's going yo be my new cardio show....becuase....im working on my 2025 body
Just a note if u dont know yet; netflix dont own/created the this series, Riot Games and studio Fortische do, give credits to them not neflix😊. Looking forward to more of your reaction vid😊.
@@PourReactions They r known for their game League of Legends, ESports(world tournament for players of League of Legends), they r also known for good cinematics for their game and Music videos. You can check some of their cinematics and music videos after u finish this series while waiting for its season 2 coming this november👍
@PourReactions oh God no, stay well away from that! But you don't need to know the game to understand the show, they deliberately made it like that. To answer a question you had: it's one big city called Pilltover, with the rich living above ground, and the poor living down in the fissures below ground. They have bad air due to both it being below ground, and the mines that exist. It's a classic rich/ poor divide. Also, regarding 'poor' decisions. Vi is about 15/16 here, and Powder around 11/12. So it's not surprising they act as they do. And something to point out - Powder is making nail bombs in her spare time. Nail bombs at her age, which shows how messed up their childhood is already.
@gustavgustav2670 ohhhhh okay that makes sense. The dynamics of the world was confusing the hell out of me. The bomb was wild. It may been edited out here but the original video is like 52 mins and I remember saying "is that shrapnel bomb!?" In shock becuase of her being so young
@PourReactions I think the bridge scene at that start was maybe 6 or 7 years beforehand, so it's not surprising they are a little messed up. If anything, Vi is comparatively normal, if a little eagre to punch anything that moves. One more related thing: Vander isn't their real Dad, he adopted them in that first scene. Both their parents died on that bridge.
I played league a very small amount sometime like over 10 yrs ago 🤣 I do remember it being fun and highly competitive. There was also a ton of characters & equipment 🔥🔥🔥
Riot Games was originally a start-up based out of North Hollywood. The founders were actually low level Jewish, Japanese and French German immigrants who found each other through Craigslist, wanted to make an online MOBA to rival "World of Warcraft" which was still blowing up as an online sensation before all the Blizzard Games controversy with hiring practices, toxic culture, lack of inclusion etc. and that became "League of Legends".(Originally "League of Legends:Clash of Fates" but it was changed to just "League of Legends" quickly because there was a similar game called "Clash of Clans" on mobile from a major competitor and they didn`t wanna be sued).Over time, when they started making cinematics and music videos, they recruited Fortiche which was a tiny independent French animation studio which specialized in a unique mix of 2-D,3-D, matte painting and old fashioned filmmaking techniques.Fortiche and Riot actually started out with about 10 people and to make "Arcane" they had to hire up to 70 animators, artists, producers, airbrushers, sculptors, voice actors and actresses(Many of whom primarily did Live Action work or school plays prior to "Arcane", only Vander, Benzo, Silco and Pim(Both voiced by Jason Spisak who`s basically the Sean Bean of animation) , Heimerdinger, Mylo, Deckard and Claggor are voiced by veteran VAs) etc.
