The dog with the bone is they are talking about Mustang and the bone is Ross. That Envy disguised themself as Ross at first then the wife. It was set up by Envy and Lust is true as well. Lust did mention that she was having a hard time getting information from her “boyfriend” . As for Barry/66 just wait for it.
Remember in ep 12, it mentioned alchemy is life cycle itself, hence birth and death is always part of it. And death is an important part that every alchemist needs to learn to accept.
Nah Barry is a Hawkeye simp now, he ain't gonna risk disappointing the sniper goddess. Man is here to vibe with the cool people lol. Ling is a lot like I used to be as a teen. If I didn't eat every few hours I would get dizzy and pass out. My growth spurt hit so fast I had stretchmarks on my knees so I get when your body is working overtime. In Havoc's defense though, Lust did say he was either a born idiot or a clueless hustler so he must not be giving her anything useful at this point. He just wanna romance his big tiddy goth gf and that's all he cares about lol. Which honestly same
Filler? In not this anime! 😂 Also we have told you that this anime is hard on you since episode one, you never know when it's going to come😈 if you want another tearjerker for patreon try angel beats
BTW (and this is completely random but) some episodes have post-credits scenes I grabbed a list from a quick google search. I'm not sure how accurate it is but I'm sure someone will correct/add anything if there are any mistakes. From this point on we have 28, 29, 30, 32, 33, 36, 40, 42, 43, 44, 46, 48, 49 there are also episodes where the credits will play while stuff is still going on but those are fairly obvious.
Let me know if you guys like any of those suggested Anime! I'd like to also add a more popular Anime too. Like Bleach, One Piece or something along those lines.
I haven't actually seen any of the anime you brought up in the intro, but I'm sure they are great if so, many people recommend them. As for other suggestions I've said it before in a previous video, I believe you would enjoy Samurai Champloo, Case closed, and Lupin the Third, as well as YuYu Hakusho. Samari Champloo is more serious in tone and the characters carry an air of mystery, depth, and intrigue behind them which I think you would enjoy because of the pacing and dynamic relationships; along with the typically more grounded and realistic art style that is my number one recommendation for shows I think you will vibe with.
As for the reaction itself, this is another one of those heavy hitting episodes that absolutely tugs at your heart strings. It may be frustrating the way that Mustang told the brothers about Hughes but it should lead up to an interesting conversation when they reconvene next about his intentions behind this decision.
@@PourReactions that was Elfen Lied lol... There's a reason I want to see an Angel Beats! reaction and I'm pretty sure most people reading this know what that is... Don't say nothing y'all just smile and nod lol.
I will say Elfen Lied has lot of nakedness and heavy gore. Grantz if I remember right is heavy gore. Made in Abyss seems one thing, but it goes in a different direction and have tissues. Fire Force is a fun watch with heavy fan service. Hellsing is gore, but good. Angel Beats = have tissues on hand. All are good, you can’t go wrong.
Man this episode really hurts. Personally I tend to feel more seeing the reactions of losing someone more than them actually dying. Its how their loss affects the ones they love that hurts. And FMA does not hesitate to twist the knife with things like showing the phone booth, or showing his wife cry through the window. I can't imagine the strength it takes for her to tell Ed and Al to keep pushing forward despite what it cost her. And yeah Mustang not telling them about Hughes is not the right call imo. You can look at as not trying to hurt them, or that they have bigger things to deal with, but they were going to find out regardless. Putting it off was just saving Armstrong (and then Mustang) from being the bearer of bad news. And then Mustang was hypocritical enough to do the exact thing he got onto Armstrong about ( love Mustang, but part of what makes him a well crafted character is that he has his flaws). "Why do we care about him and his little girlfriend? It's side filler-" *immediate jaw drop* That karma was INSTANT😂 Also next episode is a doozy, be ready. They set up all of these crazy moving parts at the end of the episode so well. You will never guess where this goes!
@PourReactions I hate to be the one to break it to you, but it's not 2 heavy episodes in a row. It's gonna be more like 12. You are in for a rollercoaster ride until episode 29 or so.
@PourReactions I think I mentioned before that section 2 is my favorite part of the story, and that the ending song "Let it Out" has like 3 episodes where it might make you cry. You're gonna see why!
My personal headcanon for Ling has been that his eyes being closed is HIS intentional choice. His guards mention sensing "chi" from living things, so in the context of him chatting with people, he wouldn't necessarily have to have his eyes open to know where they are in relation to him. So I always saw him opening his eyes on occassion as him seeking visual information he can't get through "sensing". Such as Ed's facial expression in reaction to him mentioning the philosopher's stone. So usually his eyes being open means he's trying to observe something specific.
Envy is very intentionally androgynous, tying directly into their shape shifting abilities allowing them to functionally be whatever. The english dub primarily refers to Envy as a "he", but you really can't go wrong with considering them some form of non-binary or fluid. A situation where any term could really count for them.
My thing with Greed's crew was they all obviously thought of eachother as family, and Greed called them HIS in the context of not letting them be killed. Al probably picked up on the fact that they cared about each other and seeing Bradley be so ruthless compared to how he pretends around him usually was enough for him to feel protective of Martel. He hates seeing death as is, and it wasn't even a "fight" with Bradley mowing them down. Greed's the G at being killed. He was "fuck y'all and I hope you know you gon' see me again in hell, have a fun trip down!" until the end. I can only hope to be so spiteful in my final moments.
If I remember, they refer to Envy as a he in the Eng dub, but envy is really nonbinary, and I think they use that language in Japanese. To me, Envy just looks like a guy in his/their usual form
Envy is referred to as a male but and the main form he uses is male as well canonically. That being said IDK how much it really matters when you are dealing with a shapeshifter.
YESSSSS FMA was the first anime outside of Dragonball that I was exposed to. I was 13 and caught an episode on Toonami. Greed was my first anime crush and to this day still the basis of my taste in men lol. So he mentions that the military created the chimeras following him, but that he doesn't talk to the other sins anymore. Essentially, Greed stumbled upon them in the lab they were made in and just said, "That's no fun," and let them all out. In the list of Greed's abilities, one is actually listed as "charisma." So yeah, the chimeras could've just stuck with him because they felt indebted, but it's also 100% possible that he's just so much fun they didn't wanna bail. You can even see some of them smiling at how cool his healing is when his head is growing back.
@@PourReactions It's a great show, but not everyone can be so compelling with their reactions! I need to go to bed, but Imma binge the rest of this and then see if you've reacted to anything else I've seen.
@@derekmarshman6154 🤣🤣🤣 small channel problems! But we are growing and making a great community between Arcane and my intro into anime. Happy to have you here!
Ed is a good big brother for stepping away and not snapping back at Al. Even though to him it came out of nowhere, he took Al's concerns seriously and walked away to clear his head first before reasoning through things with him. Though I'm not sure how rational I'd be if my "brain" wasn't able to reset with a nap for a few years.
I am SO glad that you respect the material enough to pause so you can give your thoughts without missing anything. Wish more react channels did that. You earned my sub, dude, keep up the great work.
@downeastbeast6448 thank you! That means a lot. Sometimes I apologies becuase (as you'll see) the more of this I watch the more theories I come up with 🤣🤣.
Idk why but you just referring to the guards of the lab as "guys in masks" made me suddenly reimagine this whole show in the context of the Purge. You, a disembodied soul, are investigating your government conspiracy of the week with your brother in alternate universe Germany in 1914. Purgers are ready for you and suddenly fist fighting a meat cleaver to learn about a genocide rock is your night. In hindsight, this show is wild out of context.
Just as well that there isn't another blue haired girl who might be becoming part of Vi's life that could make a exceptionally abandonment prone and unstable Jinx even worse around.
Viktor's sickness isn't something that can be dealt with by fixing or getting rid of the bad leg. His whole body is sick. This is why he is too weak to walk on his own and even has a cough. It's like he is permanently poisoned from the undercity toxins and everything is slowly dying.
I'm with Heimerdinger. Our own lifetime shouldn't be a factor in making sure a product is safe. Great example in the real world is medicine. They go through years of testing and development. Not everyone who was there at start of development will be there in the end. To take shortcuts requires that not taking them would be associated with disastrous consequences in itself.
Egg is used to make a very long-lasting paint called egg tempera, though I don't believe it's commonly used today. Some of the oldest tempera paintings that are still around today are from the first century AD, which is pretty impressive.
The choice for characters in Arcane seems to be between going it alone and coming up short, or building support and allies--all of whom have their own agendas, and some of whom can't be trusted. It's a measure of how well the characters work for us that we want them to have better choices available, to be in better situations generally--but then there would be no story to watch :D
As for your questions, it's implied that creature is the source of shimmer, but I don't believe it's ever outright stated. The mad scientist, by the way, IS in fact the same person who worked with Silco back in Episodes 1-3. Speaking of Act I characters, you *will* find out more about Ekko before the end of the season. The showrunners didn't completely forget about him. Also, this is probably no surprise, but the conflicted nature of Vi and Powder/Jinx's relationship remains an important element. Lastly, I'm on Jayce's side in this decision, but explaining why would require spoiling things, so I'm not gonna. LOL.
@timhaldane7588 🤣🤣🤣🤣 you're awesome! I was like "thats gotta be the scientist dude! How many creepy bald scientist could be running around there. That's sad about that creature tho. Good lord what a terrible existence to live.
Another solid reaction, I really enjoyed the commentary seeing you formulate different connections and giving alternate predictions that are all informed by the new plot elements being introduced. Take care bud see you in the next one.
The other commenters mentioned most about Xing and Ling are spot on. You were right about May being Ling’s half sibling from another clan, I won’t mention more because spoiler. Also Yoki traveling with Scar was mentioned in an earlier episode in a report Mustang’s men was working on. At this point neither Ed or Al know that Hughes is dead. The pacing of episodes will be more balanced from here on out.
@animeangel990 oh sweet! I figured and that's not really a spoiler. 30 ish siblings and both of yall pop up at the same time from the same place. 2 + 2 = 4 sprt of thing
Hughes is such a mood. "If you guys are dancing with death you think I'm gonna be a hero? Nah I'm going home at 5 but I'll be at your funerals homies." If I'm not an alchemist, I'm minding myself around the serial killer lol. One thing we didn't get in this anime though is that Nina and Alexander were in excruciating pain being attached together. She was doing well with communicating as well as she was, because originally she asks "why does it hurt?" We were spared a lot more heartbreak in this version by ommitting that and mercy killing them so fast. Scar is such a compelling character. You can clearly empathize with his trauma, but we see how little research he's doing considering he attacked a 15 year old that was a toddler during said war.
If this epsiode doesn't affect someone, safe to say they're heartless tbh. Feel your emotions man cause this ain't Feelsmetal Alchemist for nothing! To put it in perspective though, Mustang did MEET the Elrics as half humans in a sense after seeing a bloodied corpse in their basement, so I always chalk that up as him just being like "Come on kids, this aint our first rodeo. We've seen some shit and you gotta push on." Kinda how Ed just walked past Rose and told her to use her working legs to keep going.
There is one small manga chapter skipped in FMAB, Elric Brother went to a mine town call Youswell, which is next to desert, and saved people from Yoki control (The weird guy that following Scar). This story will reveal as a short flashback many episodes later. Anyway May was on Youswell when she enter this country, people mention Ed is a young genius alchemist with a beautiful golden long braid and eyes, May was immediately crush on him and want to find him😂. But she don't know people forget to mention Ed is small, so the imaginary image is totally wrong😂.
I was wondering why I didnt get any notifications for new episodes after I watched 1 and 2 back to back... Apparently I was not rough enough with that subscribe button. Needless to say that was remedied REAL quick today lol. The armor apron is actually for covering junk lol. Traditional western armor like that actually has big gaps around the groin so it's easier to move your legs. Al is essentially keeping stuff from accidentally going inside the armor while also keeping up the illusion that there's a body inside.
Small detail from the manga that didn't come across as well in the anime, Scar actually loves animals. His reaction to the panda is meant to be more like shock at the absolute cuteness. Also, I don't think it's ever explicitly mentioned and isn't really a spoiler, but even though she looks really young, Mei Chang is 12. Ed is 15 and Al is 14, so she's not too much younger than them. Ling is definitely one of my favorites. I love that FMAB doesn't really do one-dimensional characters. Good, evil, or morally grey, everyone in this show is interesting and I get invested in their stories.
I second this hell pause more if you need to! If you miss something don't be afraid to go back to catch it! React however feels most natural to YOU because that's what the real ones who are going to click subscribe and keep coming back are coming to see. Remember most if not all of us have watched FMAB already we are here to watch YOU not the show!
@poesenpai6475 thanks dude!!!! Haha. I just finished another episode of Arcane. Going to try and sneak another FMAB today too. I have zero social plans for the day 🤣
Yes Edward and basically all of Amestris is coded as white and loosely based on Germany (there's a lot of Germanic names like Elric, Marcoh, etc and also Bradley is literally called the Fuhrer, the same title the Nazis had for Hitler). The people of Xing are loosely based on China, and even cross a desert that is loosely based on the journey across the Middle East on the Silk Road to go from China to Europe. I'm not sure if the Ishvalans are based on any specific race or region, but they are certainly based on victims of genocide, so they might pull from multiple places, but I'm not knowledgeable enough to really say towards anything in particular. Also Yoki (the mustached guy with Scar) is actually from a story that the anime skipped where he was a one episode joke villain for Ed and Al. Basically a corrupt military officer that they expose and then he's kicked out of town and now he wants his revenge. They will bring it up later, and its not really important, hence why it was skipped, just figured I would give you context. Also not trying to bias you towards any characters, but Ling is my 2nd favorite after Hughes and I think he will grow on you a lot, even if he is quite sneaky
