There’s something funny about going from the super swaggy Full Power SSJ4 animation to Goku IMMEDIATELY being dead at the bottom of hole and Vegeta yelling “Damnit!”
While 5 hits might be hard to get at times. I feel like going into the cell red zone and expecting to get 5 hits early on isn’t realistic. He barely attacks and is always healing. Any other event should be easy
5 hits aren’t too bad if you’re not a mega whale who can blast through content at light speed, that restriction is fine to me since it gatekeeps the invincible uub and then the monster full power ssj4 who drops 12+ mil attack stats guaranteed crits with guard, damage reduction and defense on super attack on first appearance at 55%, it’s a hell of a lot better than the metal cooler movie goku and vegeta who need to super attack, get hit and then the transform into a form that’s barely an improvement
3:21 If he doesn't kill Cell here, you can see it! Upon Cell's attack, Goku's attack stat under his Ki will change to match the buff from the receiving/evaded attack! Edit: You can! After receiving the attack, his Attack Power rose to 7,686,426. Up from 5,632,295. Quite the jump!
I see Truth’s points on hating units that need to be hit and he shows them in the vids, but it’s a lot easier to get hits in before the final phase when all your units are not rainbowed and shooting out triple 12 mil atk stats. I have found very little issue in units needing to be hit, it’s annoying sometime but most of the time it’s not that bad.
I agree. It is enough of an issue though to take him out of the number 1 spot for sure. Bulma is just to much, but I am happy he is as strong as he is.
i don't think its hate as there are other words you can use. What i think datuth and so do i use the words is annoying as he said he likes how this guy moves but the kit is just awful at times. I played a lot of gatcha games for some time now and yha they didn't do this goku justice. As the whole point of gatcha games is its all RNG base so you might get it right away the effect skill but others may have to let things drag out which is not good if you can't beat new hard events where DEF's is everything.
He could have gotten uub turn 6 easily. He just chose to run goku in slot 1 instead of slot 2 where there were 3 attacks. On that turn the 8 anniversaries easily could have handled slot 1 on turn 2
Just so people realise, this dude has 550k DEF without support at 55% and link LVL1. This means that he can tank the equivalent of a type neutral Cell Max SA just after supering for 550k. Bulma, in the same circumstances, takes similar damage. We're talking about Goku's base form. His base form. Of course, you need to take one hit and you need to launch the 2 SAs, but that's pretty much mandatory considering his Ki passive and the way you have to play him. Now, for his transformed state (I skip over Majuub which is pretty much Bulma on steroid but who doesn't do damage), let's be ultra negative here. Goku didn't get attacked, it's the first turn where he appears, so no hit passive. He also got attacked before doing his SA. You know how much damage he receives? 250k. Yes, the same guy that gaves you 77% HP, the same guy that supported you for 70% DEF for 2 turns before coming out. He takes 250k in his absolute worst situation at 55%. And then, the second turn where he appears, you now have that hit passive, you now did at least one Ultra (too easy to miss). And now, even slot 1, he takes between 600k (worst case) and 250k. (best case would be 134k) And that's a 55%, link LVL 1, no support, no equips character. Honestly, if you don't see why he is TOP 1 right now, I don't understand you. Which unit does as much slot 1 (which, once again, is the hardest spot to be in)? Which unit has an easy 1m DEF with 50% damage reduction slot 1? Which unit, on top of that, does 20m + 30% chance of a 15m attack stat with guaranteed crit? Bulma is good, but let's not pretend post turn 7 she is risky and can get you killed. Piccolo is good, but let's not pretend he could get OSed by some SAs. GT Duo are cool, but let's not pretend they can't get OSed slot 1. This guy does it all. All. An invincible mode that gives giga support and potential healing, a mega defensive slot 1 unit, and a supreme offensive unit.
We will be getting quite a lot of stones from EZAs this celebration: - Beerus + 33 stones - Godku + 33 stones - Baby + 33 stones - GT goku, cell, frieza + 33 stones Thats quite a lot and there might even be more EZAs potentially

I'm just happy dokkan is showing ssj4 so much respect easily one of my favorite saiyan forms which come to think of it how many of goku's forms have been the best in the game since it came out? I know his INT LR ssj1 form was the best when it came out with full powered frieza, someone mentioned that ultra instinct was the best in the game when LR str one came out, and mastered ultra instinct was the best I think two years ago so far haven't heard about his ssj3 or even Kaioken being the best (obviously his ssj2 won't cause it's not really his most known form)
The point in units needing to be hit is to make sure it’s not to easy or busted. But if you watch the show the unit is built around what happened actually. He gets hit a lot then uub protects him for awhile then he is powered to the max and beyond. Perfectly made unit in my eyes
I see ur point but sometimes dokkan takes it to the next level and makes the character needing to take like 10 hits (super 17 💀) and that just really kills the fun of a lot of characters.
@@darylbrown5431 yeah, true. And like he’s so oppressive and at a higher echelon in Full power mode, that it kinda makes sense that they don’t give u that for free. No different from like orange piccolo needing to take hits to build his defense or the mouse fusions having both to transform and do a bunch of supers to get to a really high lvl. I think the somewhat difficult challenge to go from ssj 4 to full power is very worth it. And not to mention that Uub is a monster as well. Not many downsides at all to this unit
I need to bring this to attention. Just because a character gets a good amount of buffs in a specific slot does not mean you absolutely must run them in that slot unless they are guaranteed to die in any other slot. It is not NECESSARY for all the attacks to be in slot 1. Throw him in slot 2 or possibly 3 if you find it more beneficial to transform Goku as soon as possible.
To clarify with the stand-by charges, you get 2 charges per INT or rainbow ki sphere, and 1 from everything else. This ignores the typing of the character that is collecting ki, so even if you collect same type orbs, if they are not INT or rainbow, they only count for 1 each.
He might honestly be better for f2p players than for whales since he doesn’t really get much from hidden potential other than numbers and the lower power level will let you transform him more easily
Truth, is kinda no fun when you can get FP SSJ4 straight up. Sure it takes some time but thats actually made it fun, considering he is actually powerfull before transform. I have no issues with that
This unit and the gt duo are so close, like really close. After super they have relative defense, the gt duo are doing more damage but goku has more start of turn defense. Both have 50% damage reduction.
doesn’t goku have a lot more defense? At rainbow he’s at 800k SOT and after supering he’s at around 1.2m. GT Duo sit at around 800-900k no? Might be wrong about that
@@dragonballxenoverse9216 he has more defense. I said relative in the sense that while goku is more tanky, they also tank the entire game, just slightly worse than him. Also keep in mind in slot 1 they get a lot of defense. For example if they start the turn at 300k defense, in slot 1 after 3 supers they have 810K defense.
@@Broken-xp1lh After using both extensively I think the duo is slightly better. Stand by the duo wins because while uub is great and supports the entire team, you can still die on other characters. With Vegeta it’s impossible to die and you support as well and you absolutely nuke the boss when reviving. Kit wise after goku transform they’re really close: he’s slightly better defensively and they clearly do more damage. But Goku has to transform first to even compare. Overall they win imo.

With these shared /big celebration headliners, they typically like to go in order Edit : trunks and zamasu are actually 2 years older 💀 super buu and ssj3 gotenks are a year older 💀💀 the gt ssjs are BARLEY 2 years old, this would be the earliest eza, HELL NAHHH, they ain't EZAing the GT SSJs

Please give me moral support, last two Tanabata's I've spent 1200-1500 mostly f2p stones on each and didn't get the unit, and now I'm 650 stones in without a copy here on Goku. Hopefully will get him through the celebration but my heart can't take a 3rd year of such a shaft.

This goku is probably the 4th best unit in the game the top 3 are providing so much for their team beyond just a slot 1 unit. But if both ssj 4 forms had built in additionals this unit would be the best in the game no contest

Do they have a tanabata EZA? If that’s a thing they could EZA the GT Super Saiyan Goku and Vegeta and they do change orbs and Vegeta is INT so they could work well with the new unit

This makes me wonder if it's possible to have two charging standby skills going on at the same time. I personally haven't seen it, but if you can, does it show two charging meters? I guess he answered my question. But I was mainly referring to a hypothetical SSJ4 standby wiith a Buu Duo standby. But having one standby at a time makes sense
Basically since it a standby skill it still counts as SSj4 goku card. Now if it was a Tag or switch then the card would had been trash because of the low teams it would had. So i think it's best not too think to hard on it.
Maybe this is just me being negative, I love this unit but I think stand by skills are awful, I don't like how many steps it takes to get to have fun, in my mind ssj4 is fun uub who doesn't attack isn't fun

Yha he's stats is cool but if it takes long to go to uub than the skill effects sucks. I wish dokkan would stop giving such an character with good ost's and animation and rarely see it.
Yes, which is the actual Tanabata Banner. The only problem is there is 10 more featured units (20 featured in total), so it's even harder to pull the unit you want.
