@@cristowit Yeah. I especially notice it in valley right after a benchmark. But other times it's barely noticeable, and it's something that I could totally live with considering it's such a boost in performance compared to my RX 460 4GB NITRO Card. The HBM Definitely helps at higher resolutions.

and funny how some ppl call nfs heat looks better lmao i played max setting with my 2060 super and and my r5 1600 tbh lightnings are really cool bur rather then that the game looks pretty bad compare to forza 4 and i cant even get 60 fps yeah i know huge bottleneck and forza easily 120-130 fps max setting lol impressive, now do someone tell me is your cpu is not good enough, i do love frostbite engine but i hate that engine past 2-3 years didn't do anything impressive in my opinion and also cant implement low level api which is real shame for this engine, because bf3 when it was release 8 years ago it was so fucking amazing and still age like wine just sad such and such an advance engine back in era now a days nothing more then a meh engine, i hope dice can bring back their old glory but i highly doubt that since many peoples say frostbite engine was designed for shooting games but EA to save the cost use the same damn engine every single game

ahhh for sure. forza h3 was fucking bad when it launched.. for real.. i had a fx8350 i would barely use 30% of it and hardly hit 40frames the gpu was also chilling.... the game could only see 4 cores if im correct... best back then was i5 or i7.. toke them a while to patch it. for more cores... fun game doh but had a bad time at the start...

Considering the 570 can be bought secondhand for about £70-£100 (depending on 4GB or 8GB) and is a lot less power hungry, the 570 wins it for me. Right now, I think my RX 580 8GB still has a couple of years left in it. Still plays mostly everything I throw at it at 1080p/60fps. Best value card I've ever bought personally. I'd put my money on the 570 being the best bang-for-buck for the next year or so.

Me too actually. I used to have 2 in Crossfire, but now I just keep one for contingency in a spare PC. A great card still.

Such a weird issue to have. Both my R9 280X and GTX 1060 6GB never made a single noise other than fan spin. I got a 2060 Super a couple weeks ago -- thing coil whines like a MOFO. Randomly too. Like if the washer and drier are on it will just decide to coil whine at idle. Then playing a game at 150+ FPS and it's fine. Mmkay. You can try setting Power Limit to 80-90% (or undervolt if you're up to it) and removing the backplate. Both might help reduce the pitch. Extreme options include buying a new PSU and/or getting a noise insulated case, but I wouldn't recommend it. From doing a ton of research the two things I can say for sure is: A) It's fine it's not gonna break the card, B) If you got coil whine you're pretty much stuck with it. So slap those headphones on and game :D

Yup. Look at RX 580 nowadays. At launch it was 20% weaker than 1060 now its better than it by 25%. Unreal.

Yeah, I have 4x Fury, it’s insane! Double my fps compared to my Titan Xp, the Fury just wont die, still top dog** at 4k **probably within 5% of 2x Titan RTX/2080ti, and since Nvidia doesn’t allow more than 2x, yeah your really not getting an upgrade over the Fury besides extra Vram for some games.

Is the fury x good? Does it get heaten, and does it get loud

RDNA2 Big Navi has amazing coolers. Zero sack and they perform really good considering its a reference card. I won't buy customs anymore if I can get MSRP cards from the AMD shop.

What resolution do you game on? Maybe start out with a first gen ryzen build? Can be found quite cheap second hand and is a great platform for future upgrades!
