Thanks Jacob! That was fun. I got a Lava Me 2 when I saw Allie playing one on RU-vid. I have a Martin Dreadnaught Junior but keep it in a Musik Tent humidifier because in the winter here in Santa Fe it gets so dry (in a heated room) that the wood warps a lot. Can only leave it out during the "monsoon" in July/August. So the carbon fiber Lava Me was a godsend. The only trouble I have had with it is the strap buttons are awkward (large diameter, too shallow for the strap) for fitting a normal leather (eg. Levy) guitar strap. So I wonder: (1) have they fixed the strap buttons issue? (2) is the wood of the Blue Lava laminated like plywood so it would not be affected by variations in humidity?

Very thin sound. Electric and much treble but lack bass o lot. Thinking of buying one but might be to gimmicky 🤔😃

Blue Lava are a bunch of rip off's. They state on their website that the guitars are WiFi-Bluetooth ready. I contacted Blue Lav because the Bluetooth will NOT connect to any of my devisers. They told me that the Bluetooth is Not developed enough to connect to every Bluetooth device? WTF. Plus, the action on the guitar is a shocker, just way to high. Plus, it sounds like you're playing inside a carboard box. Not worth the money they are selling them for. I'm disappointed with my purchase of the blue lava touch and have been trying to sell it since I tried it. Finally got a REAL SMART GUITAR LAST WEEK The HYVIBE 20 Has everything they promised, and it DOSE CONNET TO EVERY BLUETOOTH DEVICE I OWN. It's also a Bluetooth speaker, sounds amazing, and came fully setup with very nice action, No need for a setup. If you're looking for a proper smart guitar, then the quality of the HYVIBE is outstanding. the Blue lava is a gimmick just ok for little children wanting to learn.
