In this game, The One Ring caused: • 7 Faerie Mastermind triggers • 10 Orcish Bowmaster triggers (7 of which were during a single stack) • 148 cards to be drawn due to its own ability

these are my favorite games. Fights on the stacks, people drawing their whole decks and crazy plays from everyone yet the game ends with some big orc token beating face. This game was chef's kiss. A fantastic game.

It's a small thing but around the 20 minute mark, Tyler could not have cracked those treasures due to Myrel's ability shutting off all activated abilities of artifacts

Notably when dylan said if he didnt pact their wouldve been enough orc triggers to kill seedborn, there wouldnt have been, because the swat would have killed bowmaster itself

That game was crazy. Also, at around the 2 minute marker, person blocks with swan token. Swords was cast after blocking was declared, before damage. Can't block with the swan token after that time has passed. The winner's life total was 1 at the end, so taking 5 more damage could have changed things.

This was one of my first videos I seen of play to win and it still is one I go back to watch because it's so intense. Super tight plays, or ways it could have been tighter, and pure gas. This is proper cEDH and shows how and why cEDH is fun and how it should be played.

Dylan, you could have used dauthi to cast the endurance from the dauthi zone to actually do put back your graveyard into your deck as well to not die

Everyone is talking about the endurance play to keep Dylan in the game, but the phantasmal image play is the exact same one he could have done with Thassa's oracle, cast it from Cam's dauthi card.

Halfway through the vid I had to rewind because I thought I had missed a bunch of Kevon’s turns. Nope was just an insanely long turn cycle 😂, literally thought Kevon had to leave mid game and you three had to carry on with the game! Hilarious What an awesome match! With the advent of more One Rings getting played, is haywire mite something more decks may be interested in? 1 mana to cast then 1 to activate, can be creature or artifact tutored, and exiles other things like rhystic, breach, or stax pieces. Idk, just seems like it could be slept on rn.

Question to consider for a small topic on the podcast: You guys said colorless ranked 0 in card draw when you talked about all the colors. How much does The One Ring change that? Its absolutely hilarious to think we banned cards because "It warped the game around it as soon as it entered play, just copying and blinking it was good enough" and this kind of game exists. Obviously a bit of an outlier but the fact this entire game was just defined by one card and people were willing to blow 10+ interaction spells to protect a bowmaster :D

To be fair the rules committee doesn't want to ban cards based off of cedh, as dumb as that is so most bans come from how dominanting or feels bad the cards are is casual

For future reference, Myrel prevents all activations of artifacts, creatures and/or enchantments. So you cannot crack treasures in response to a dockside. Not that it made a difference here.

How many "shuffle this card into your Library from your Graveyard" cards SHOULD be in a cEDH deck that doesn't use deck out as a built in win-con? I think at least two... like having Ramp, should that type of effect become more of an option when considering deck building? As long as you aren't in Exile... your Graveyard can always be used and a card going from there to the Library feels like a Cantrip...

@playtowin I think a really cool video idea would be to record a cEDH game from the POV of 1 player with their hand shown and narrate your decision making on what you decide to interact with and tutor decisions, how you are building to your endgame combo ect. I really love the content but there is nothing teaching you how to pilot decks.
