How good is the Scorching bow at Zammy GWD?

Getting the rare drop off the minion is peak WTF rng. Both myself and my friend have gotten bandos chestplates off the minions before getting one from bandos himself. How does that even happen? Gz on the spear and the clean helpful guide

the bow itself is pretty insane at kril. the base hits arent 100% reliable all the time, as you can hit small a lot of the time. but about 50% of the time you hit pretty good. in a duo + kril is literally just afk. 2 scorching bows is just beyond overkill there. i find myself getting spec back so often i tend to spec the minions as well. since you kill kril within 1 special attack, you have basically 3 more you can use. and you typically get 25% back by the time he respawns with a light barer

So does the bow always freeze demons? Even if it doesnt hit?
