@@tonberry2670 Thecnically a NUBL mon and due to the absurd rules of Advance NU you're not allowed to use a not fully evolved mon in UU (Honestly I would make an exception to mons banned from NU, altough Chansey might be too much for the tier to handle).
My prediction is that if FSG makes kadabra, they will make after that vids about the preevolutions of some psychic types that were also really good, like Duosion
Well he always talked about fully evolver mons until recently that started to speak about LC, it wouldn't be surprised if starts talking about first evolved mons about LC.
Now we need some remakes, like gengar and Alakazam. Just for comparison, Chansey/Blissey video used tu be like 10 minutes, now it's more than a hour long
Considering this one was a twofer for arbok and ekans, perhaps the Little Cup stories can be saved for the revisiting reviews, so the only ones which need their own episodes would be the ones that got revisited already.

Yeah I feel like they should buff arbok hard like atleast its counterpart sandslash was not as bad and got by since it got a stat or 2 actually above 100 and it even got by with no good ability and pretty bad movepool outside of rapid spin so I think arbok really needs a buff
Arbok is a sad case, it has a good movepool, a typing that got better over the years, great abilities but is ultimately held back by its awful stats, she is begging to a buff.
When they did Megas for Gen 6, I was like "Please give us a Mega Arbok." Denied... when they did Regional Variants for Gens 7 and 8, I was keeping my fingers crossed for Alolan or Galarian Arbok. Denied. Arbok NEEDS something to even be considered competitively. Arbok is my favorite, unironically! *Gives Pikachu the boot and holds a Super Soaker attatched to a Water Park at Charizard*
@@anuragkat66 It looked even *more glaring* in the Electrode video. He didn't even bother with at least explaining how Aftermath takes off a flat 25% Max Health when it gets defeated. All 3 abilities got flatly ignored in explanations. Or even so much as a *single* mention of Electrode having Soundproof. You'd think it might actually have some creative use for it, given how he used Mr. Mime to demonstrate how freakishly broken it can prove. Even Static, it's more basic ability for a 30% Contact Paralyze, didn't get a mention. I actually went out of the way to make a comment explaining them all where FSG said basically nothing.
@@stetsonherrick8090 he commented on some of those things. Watch the video again and you'll see he mentions aftermath in gen 5. The problem is that electrode was so useless that those things wouldn't make a difference. Soundproof is mostly gimmicky (Mr. Mime was hyped more because it also had baton pass, not because of the ability itself) and a lot of pokemon have static, so it is nothing to get excited about. The information about ambipom being UU in gen 7 for a time was indeed sadly missed, but I can't say the same for electrode. Oh yeah, and most people who watch FSG already have plenty of knowledge about the games, including abilities and what they do, so it wasn't necessary to explain them.
Reminder that in the Adventures manga, Koga fought Agatha's Arbok, who could change its hood pattern to give a variety of effects (Making it faster, stronger etc). Koga's solution to this? Have his Golbat BITE his arm and splash the blood all over Arbok's hood to nullify it. Hardcore
@person person The manga was pretty insane. I recall that Red had an Eevee that could evolve and de-evolve back into an Eevee over and over again at will, so it was basically Eevee, Vaporeon, Jolteon and Flareon at the same time. And speaking of Arbok, in the manga it gets sliced in half. And there's a chapter with Pokemon zombies!

@person person In the manga Arbok’s patterns had a variety of different effects, for example one could increase speed, another made it a lot stronger and a third made it immune to status effects, allowing it to easily adapt to different situations. That being said I have no idea why covering the pattern would stop anything
The concept comes from Pokemon Stadium 1 and 2 in game tournaments. Fun fact, the regular default tournaments with level 100s is actually called Prime Cup

Honestly, Arbok like Ariados is such a cool looking pokemon. Give Arbok an additional 20HP and 5Spe to its bases and it might actually be somewhat usable. Hopefully it'll get a mega someday.
Hopefully Arbok can get an evolution or something! Arbok's so cool! I'd like a Fire/Poison regional variant for it, but even then that wouldn't help those stats too much... but a cool evolution would!
Honestly for real though. Since Missingno is catchable how good is it actually? I don’t think it trades to other gens though so it’d be a short video...
@@yserareborn It's actually pretty terrible. Even if it was allowed in tournaments and didn't glitch matches, no defense = glass cannon. And it's not even that strong. There are no "bird" type moves in the game so no same type bonus. It's attack won't one shot level 100 pokemon. It's just a novelty to use really. Gamefreak, make Missingno an official pokemon.

It’s kinda annoying because it has all the positives to become a decent Pokemon, decent typing for a niche, great moves and move pool, and amazing ability, it just has garbage stats to utilize what it has.
@@dreadalex They took advantage of that pattern thing, made it so the patterns had extra abilities, that one just so happened to have regen. Although that was pretty clever to attribute it to Shed Skin.
The manga was/is pretty violent and dark from what I've heard. Not only is there the Arbok thing, there's also a chapter with gruesome zombified Pokemon!
A little detail: The wrapper in NU was Dragonair, who has almost the exact same stats. Dragonair has agility to deny opposing paralysis though, as well as a more accurate thunder wave which is huge on wrap strategies, and a good special move to dent physical walls, specially the powerful water types of that tier.

Suggestion: If a pokemon receives a stat buff once a new gen comes,you can display it whenever you show it next to its stats during the vids. For example in Arbok's case when gen7 come out - Atk:85+10. I hope this is helpful! Awesome video as always! I always liked Arbok! A higher Atk and Speed stat could make it at least a niche (?) choice-item user in my opinion. Its a Poison-type Pokemon with Intimidate , which is pretty interesting.
Arbok would benefit from receiving a new regional form or even receiving a new evolution form to give Arbok the chance to become better in the competitive scene. Though at least Arbok could make good use of its poison typing and poison type moves to handle fairy types in generation 6.
I want to set up a tournament called “One man’s Trash” where you have to use all untiered Pokémon... Except for your ace in the hole, the one you are allowed from PU.
Arbok will always get one spot in my Team. I am doing this since Gen 1 and I will do it in every other Game it makes an appearance. I like that Pokémon.
So, you want a remake of the birds right? Zapdos might reached a 1-hour video considered that Kanto Zapdos was so bulky on OU. Zapdos-Galar can't outclassed Zapdos, hence it dropped to UU once.
This channel is one the few youtube channels that delivers very high quality content and has been consistently providing it for a long time. But as we all know such channel's don't get the response they deserve or the subs but the subs they have are quality watchers and we all know quality over quantity keep going fsg you guys are awesome .

Since most snakes are really fast while biting, i would like an ability that gives not priority, but a speed boost while attacking to Arbok (or any snake mon) with a physical move or are biting move.
First off, hey, you ended the same way the Pokerap did with, "That's all folks"! Second off, I did write my own concept for a regional Arbok (could be a Mega since those stats need boosting lol) in which I made it Poison/Steel and gave it the following Abilities: Intimidate, Strong Jaw, and a new Hidden Ability with Grounding Rattle. What that does is make it unable to switch out, but its tail digging into the ground makes it immune to Ground-Type moves, which means it only has one weakness to Fire since Psychic and Fighting are neutral against it. In terms of moves, I gave it mostly biting moves (for Strong Jaw), but also a new signature move, Corrosive Titanium; a base 50 Power physical Steel-Type move with 100% accuracy that lowers the opponent's Defense by 2 stages (a slightly stronger physical Acid Spray). Though if it were a Mega, I'd say its stat spread should be this: HP - 60 Atk - 145 Def - 109 SpA - 15 SpD - 109 Spe - 110
Arbok is one of those Pokemon that isn’t particularly viable but I’ll still use it in my play throughs whenever I have the choice to. Arbok is to me what Charizard is to most people, I love it too much not to use it and on top of that his gold shiny just looks amazing! Still absolutely livid that arbok (and its pre evolution Ekans and fellow snake pokemon Seviper) STILL isn’t in SWSH even after 2 “DLCs”. Just another reason why I never brought the game. Maybe next gen I guess #JusticeforArbok
@@goldenhydreigon4727 No joke, Venusaur is awesome. Shame GameFreak went ham in Gen 1 creating so many Grass types and making Psychic (one of my favorite types though...) broken. Venusaur could've worked with more love. It's unfair Charizard gets two Megas and was a Galar Dex Mon while Venusaur (and Blastoise) had to wait until DLC for Sword and Shield to get a G-Max form
I have a soft spot for Arbok since it featured on my Ultra Moon team. I know affection mechanics are hax, but it survived, and then got the glare off on Giovanni's mega Mewtwo Y of all things. He was THE reason I won that fight. I'd love to see Arbok fill a similar niche to Milotic with its Coil set. Maybe Glare gets buffed to target both enemies in doubles (too strong?) or maybe just push it faster and stronger if GF wants to keep it as a physical attacker.
Arbok is one of those examples that, with every new generation, a lot of previous generation Pokémon just can't cut it like they did before. At least Arbok's design is top notch.
@@nedrostram2360 I drew up a cute little rattle snake (it has a rattle toy as well) variant form for Ekans but I still haven't thought of anything for Arbok yet... I know it's slightly off topic, but slightly back on topic, Fairy/Ground Arbok would be nice I guess👀
I think giving Arbok a new regional form with an added typing would really help. Just look at Weezing. It would also make sense since GF already canonized the idea of regional Arboks having different hood designs.
I feel like the untiered list is pretty long at this point. Should there be a new tier or something? There's so many pokemon now that just have nothing to do :(
He is still one of my favorite Pokemon and I still and proud to say that he is on every team in every generation that he is allowed. It is sad to see the cold facts but I still wont throw him aside. Also, this is just me personally, but he represents a time when pokemon looked like real creatures and not just cutsie pets/dolls.
I really enjoy how this channel went from barely talking about any pokemon that weren't OU or Uber back in 2018 to now even covering LC pokemon. It's nice to see some of the more overshadowed mons getting love.
