Ambrose and Styles were definitely were the top stars that carried Smackdown in 2016. Others like Miz, Ziggler, Corbin and Lynch were really good too but it was Ambrose and Styles that were the leaders

Sorry but AEW dosent "steals" WWE talents,especially the examples you mentioned Ambrose/Moxley - didnt want to resign with WWE Cesaro/Claudio - asked for his release Bryan/Danielson - same as Ambrose Ryder, Calisto and Sin Cara - Fired during the pandemic Rusev/Miro - Got fired during the pandemic but he wanted to leave for months Jericho - He was with NJPW but he said multiple times he wanted to change wrestling and do something new because he knew if he made a return to WWE they would smake him do "The List" again,thats why he signed with AEW as soon as the idea was presented, Jericho even said Vince give him permission to go with AEW Most of the wrestlers in AEW that spend time in WWE, got fired(Ruby Riott, Keith Lee Samoa Joe, Alister Black, Murphy,Ember Moon, The Revival) Didnt want to resign a new contract( Andrade, Adam Cole, O´rilley,, Sting, The Hardy Boyz) or asked for their release (Toni Storm, Malcom Vivens, Shawn Spears, Brodi Lee) Stealing talent would be if AEW offered double the salary to lets say Roman Reigns in the middle of his WWE contract and Roman accepts, Can you please stop with this dumb AEW vs WWE hate, im sick of people like you that dont get the fact straight and only talk crap about one company or the other
